I signed an offer letter stating a certain start date that I specifically requested and within about an hour of submitting the DocuSign, the internal recruiter emailed saying that the partners would like me to start one month before the start date already agreed upon because “their needs have become more immediate.” This seems like mess up on the part of the in-house recruiter, and I’m not inclined to agree to start the position an entire month prior to the date agreed to. Any advice?

Merger information statement - rep the company. How do we actually send this out to 70 stockholders? One generic Docusign that gets blasted to them all? Do you have to actually personalize anything in these? Only thing we want them to sign is the written consent and can’t think of anything that needs personalization. If we were to include a joinder as an exhibit to be signed would that change things? Would you attach form of joinder or have to personalize so then have to personalize all 70?

      Surviving A Toxic Workplace

2 weeks in, I noticed that my 2 mangers were very belittling, condescending and displayed atrocious management tactics to attack other employees in front of the and behind their backs. I began documenting everything pertaining to me, 3 weeks in, because that’s when it started with me personally. Now nearly 6 months in it’s become so severe and pervasive that my work and productivity has suffered and half of the team was fired or resigned. Should I send documents to HR or only EEOC? And leave?

Best practices for resume file names: Include keywords: Consider adding the job title or keywords (e.g., John_Doe_Software_Engineer_Resume.pdf). Use dashes or underscores (like the example) between words. ATS systems don't process blank spaces. Your resume may be auto-rejected if your file name includes them. Be consistent: If you're submitting a cover letter, use the same format for both documents. Use a common file format: PDF is generally preferred. Does anyone have more tips to add?

Curious if anyone here is looking for opportunities related to document formatting and production support. We need additional help from people who are highly skilled in Microsoft Word and are skilled in setting up styles, applying templates, ensuring compliance with formatting requirements, and supporting proposal or report production. Strong attention to detail. Will consider part time or full time applicants. Fully remote with zero expectations to RTO.

The cesspool of misery that is primary care in New York City has outdone itself yet again. Just interviewed with ACPNY, a large practice there. Straight out in the beginning of the interview the lady said "By the way, we got rid of admin time definitively, just so you know" When asked if there was any flexibility on this (at least an hour or two for charting) she said NO. And then they wonder why they can't keep docs for over a year. It's disgusting.

Y’all gon’ make me lose my mind Up in this firm, up in this firm Y’all gon’ make me work all night Up in this firm, drafting that term Billables high, sleep is low, Partner wants redlines an hour ago. DocuSign’s broke, custodian’s late, Client just asked for a clean draft at 8. I’m tappin’ blacklines, Word won’t save, Paralegal left, I’m diggin’ my grave. Trustee calls, “Indenture tweak!” It’s 2am and I’ve been here all week.

Anyone ever write a “brag doc” for interviews? I’ve heard of people keeping one with wins, metrics, quotes from coworkers, etc., and using it to prep for behavioral questions. But would it be so bad to bring the written notes to your interview? I personally wouldn’t hold it against someone if they had notes on their successes and metrics for accuracy, it would show me preparedness. But wondering if others see at the same way.

Looking for some general resume advice. keeping things to one page? I've got like 8 years of experience Do freelance stints need bullet points? It was during COVID and I didn't make any book worthy work. At what point should you remove an internship from the doc? I have an okay handle on gaming out ATS and using jobscan (open to other resources), but answers to the above or general advice is very welcome. thank you!

      Healthcare

      Registered Nurse

I’ve been charting so much lately that I feel like a data entry clerk instead of a nurse. Yesterday, I spent over two hours documenting one admission... clicking boxes, repeating the same info in three places, just to stay compliant. By the time I was done, I barely had time to actually talk to my patient. Anyone else feel like documentation has spiraled out of control? What would really help?
