I am proficient in: Managing executive calendars and providing daily agenda summaries. Creating content pipelines and editorial schedules using Trello and Google Sheets.Drafting onboarding emails and supporting client communication etc. I'm a dedicated and tech-savvy VA ready to get into work.

      Consulting

      Porter
      10mo

I recently got promoted so from porter to consulting and was moved from one office to another and I have been there going on 2 months in that job position and I have been trained very little. I feel like there is more I should be learning and when I talked to my past manager and she said there is more to learn than what I have been taught so far with my current manager and my day consists of sitting at my computer doing nothing. My new manager says its slow but she could at least teach me more.

I worked as a trainer for a trucking company. I facilitated in-class training and managed continuous learning by creating PPTs and uploading MP4 videos to an LMS. I do not have formal training in instructional design or a college degree, but want to pursue this career. I'm working on learning Articulate and upskilling with other multi media and editing tools, and brushing up on learning methodologies. My concern is the lack of the degree. I have 6+ years experience, but will that be enough?

Hello! I am a very experienced training and development professional, most recently with extensive experience in designing elearning and administering the organization‘s learning management system (LMS). I am actively job searching (currently employed looking to change employers). I am located in Ohio and interested in remote and/ or hybrid and would consider on-site. Does anyone have recommendations of recruiters to work with specifically in the elearning design and LMS administration fields?

      Career Advice for Students

      works at Merit America
      7mo

I loved taking these classes with Merit America. The work was well explained. My coach was very helpful and always had answers for any question I asked him. Everything was explained well and easy to learn. The course work was laid out for you from start to finish from day 1. They even supplied me with brand new laptop with windows 11 to be able to complete my course work with and I even got to keep it after I graduated. By far the best learning experience I ever had

      Career Pivot

      Online ESL Teacher
      3mo

AS an online ESL and ELA teacher, having handled kids and adults, I wanted to transition into a different role. Right now, after having some experience leading a team of designers ( just Canva, nothing fancy) , after handling several projects in my ESL company, I realized I also want to be in admin works, or data entry... tasks based jobs but I find it too difficult, it seems my teaching experience has no value in other industry or field :(

      Software Engineer
      3w

My learning experience in ASG Platform was both challenging and valuable. I joined with little actual software development experience, but I learned a lot through handling projects, doing proper research, and solving problems independently. AI tools helped a lot, but I also learned to question outputs and think critically. At the same time, the environment can be stressful due to pressure, expectations, and fast-paced work.
