      Gym Buddies Daily Check-in

I don’t know if these comments help. There’s another thing about getting old and working out (M64). Remember, I’m just working for strength and overall fitness so not bodybuilding and do a daily decently intense 30 minutes always-changing cycle. As you get older, muscles lose their elasticity. I have a pretty strong core but if I really relax my stomach it pokes out because muscles have stretched. Ironically, that means I always keep my stomach tight, which helps fitness further.

      Search Engine Optimization

For all marketers & SEOs in this bowl: The focus on ranking blue links is a fast track to irrelevance. The real value now is optimizing for AI-driven search (SGE, Perplexity). I call this new discipline AI Engine Optimization (AEO). It's the most critical skill for the next 5-10 years. I wrote the guide on the new framework required to future-proof your career. Read the AEO guide: www.seosiri.com/2025/10/ai-engine-optimization-guide.html #Marketing #SEO #CareerAdvice #AI

      Jobs in Finance

Any ideas on how to transition out of ESG and sustainability finance/investing? Currently in the UK right now, and unfortunately the industry seems to have really slowed down on hiring and prospects. How can I translate my experience into a more transferable one for more generalised roles? I would be willing to take a slight salary hit if that means transitioning to an industry with a lot more growth prospects and stability. Maybe in policy or research roles? Any advice would be valuable!

I truly don’t know what to say at this point. IT seems like the only industry the requires you to know everything within the field. Recently had an interview and was rejected due to my knowledge on AWS. Keep in mind I’m pretty proficient with Azure. I have also worked in the field for 10 years with 2 degrees as well. I’ve been on the search for about a year and only got one offer which was a low ball offer. Is anyone else in the field struggling to find something with value?

My time as a Marketing Intern at Woods Basement Systems is an incredibly positive and formative experience. From the very first day, I was made to feel like a valued member of the team, not just a temporary intern. What truly sets Woods apart is the company culture. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and built on a foundation of respect and integrity. I gained hands-on experience in a variety of areas, including content creation, digital marketing, and community engagement.

Anyone work for Amazon as an EA? Any insight, input, work-life balance perspective: This is an in-office position under the umbrella of Amazon, but specifically for a zappos dot com / shopbop dot com role. I'm doing first round interviews soon after passing the pre-screen app & questionaire. I'm a hard working but not sure how stressful it will be. Second round interviews include a marathon 4-6 hours (sounds like a blast).

Been in tech 10+ years, with the last 3.5 as an Implementation Consultant helping companies roll out talent software. I’ve worked post-sale with limited sales exposure. I’m exploring a move into an AE role for growth and upside. Before applying, I want to (a) understand the AE role better, and (b) complete solid training to prep. If you’ve made this switch: • How was the IC-to-AE transition? • Any training recs? • If you left sales, why? Appreciate any insights!

I will be graduating this May with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance and Economics. I am passionate about pursuing a career in Human Resources and currently have experience through an Amazon Manager Internship, along with other relevant skills in people management and organizational support. I would appreciate any advice on how to strengthen my profile and stand out to recruiters as I prepare to enter the workforce

We just hired an intern who is passionate about private equity but literally doesn't know how to sum a column in Excel. I’m now expected to do my 60-hour-a-week job plus spend 10 hours a week teaching someone. I want to be a mentor, but I’m so underwater myself that I just end up doing the work for them to save time. Do you guys actually find interns helpful? How do you mke the most of the relationship?
