      Confession

      works at Deloitte

AITA for wanting to bring my senior dog in respiratory distress to the vet to get assessed for quality of life? My family has never believed in vet care ever since a previous senior dog passed away after seeing the vet. They say things like it stresses out the dog more to get tested etc. than to just let them pass naturally. I believe in letting them rest in peace, but I’m getting a lot of “you just don’t know” when I suggest we should at least get a quality of life assessment.

Elevance Health truly care about their employees not just by words but actions, they want you to have an overall balance life. The intense trainings will equip you to be your best at your job.

      Jobs in Healthcare

      Emergency Medical Technician EMT
      10mo

I am a fairly new licenced EMT, looking for employment. With little experience in the field, I am looking for a good entry level position with an ambulance company, a non-emergency medical transportation company, or a clinical or hospital role. I love helping people and my career path goal is to become an RN. Looking for work in the Antelope Valley (Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill) area and would prefer a night position. Is there anyone that may have any recommendations? Thanks in advance! 😃

Target: $350-400k OTE Could be an easy referral bonus — please DM me if this sounds like your company / open opportunity. Thanks!

Has anyone ever worked in Europe as well as in the US? If you have, how would you describe the difference between the two, and what was the biggest culture shock for you? I hear those in Europe have a more relaxed attitude towards work, but salaries tend to be lower. https://econreview.studentorg.berkeley.edu/live-to-work-or-work-to-live-work-culture-in-the-u-s-versus-europe/

I will begin traveling for work next month and will be using American Airlines as my primary airline & Marriott as my primary hotel. Any tips/recs for retrieving status faster with AA? Is it worth getting the AAdvantage card or lounge card? AA isn’t my ideal airline but it’s a hub for me and the locations I’ll be traveling to/from.

Hi, for the people that have worked across several countries in Europe for a Big4 company. Which countries do you think have a better work life balance than others? To my surprise I just learned that Spain works very long hours (even longer than the US) so I wanted to see what’s the atmosphere in other places in Europe. Thanks!

Do large pharmas pay for EMBAs? Assume it’s not as established as some consulting firms paying for MBA with the condition of returning to them to work afterwards, but any insights into companies and any partner programs would be helpful. Located in the northeast and have looked at Columbia and Wharton primarily

Has anyone who went through GSAP had international courses/immersions (charged by the school through fees) covered when paid reimbursement or was it left out of the payment equation? Obviously not expecting flights, food, etc. to be covered, but curious about the class fee itself? TY 😊

Have a screen with Ulta for their marketing team. Anyone know their RTO policy? It’s for Bolingbrook but was curious if they are ever flexible with their Chicago office as an option as it’s an easier commute. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
