Hey ladies, I need some uplifting. I NEVER imagined I’d be facing down a decision to do IVF. My mom had 3 kids in 4 years, ending at age 35. My grandma had my dad in the 50s at age 40. I’m 36 and been TCT for 1.5 years. 2 IUIs, many letrozole cycles, and even acupunture. The toughest part for me…I’m a practicing Catholic. I am so worried about if we have extra embryos and what to do with them. If you went down this path, how did you handle it mentally? TIA. I’m progressive on a lot of issues bu

Hey guys question! I have been through 6 interviews for a development associate and of course I think I might be offered the position, but I’m just a little skeptical . I’ve been at my job for about 2 years and it’s okay, it’s on site & I won’t grow in this role. this new position is hybrid 3x home 2 onsite. It’s closer to me, it is a change of career and I’m excited but the interview I was told it was a hectic job and if wear a lot of hats for the same pay I get now… should I take it

Hi everyone. I just need to vent. Maybe it’s the hormones talking. I’ve been at this fertility journey for about 2.5 years. Several IUIs that yielded nothing, currently in my 5th IVF cycle (my previous cycles yielded less eggs and a couple of embryos that didn’t come to fruition) I’m on my way to the doctor to see if I’m ready for trigger or if I need to stim one more day. I’ve done EVERYTHING- acupuncture for a year now, taken all of the supplements, managed my stress, meditations, cont..

There’s a growing demand for STEM jobs, yet so many capable people still feel like they don’t “fit” in that world. The truth is, STEM needs diverse thinkers, late bloomers, and those willing to learn at their own pace. It’s not just about being brilliant—it’s about being consistent and open to growth. Everyone’s entry point looks different, and that’s perfectly valid. Do you see yourself in a STEM role someday, or does something still hold you back?

As a BCG X Data Scientist, I’m weighing three offers: 1. GenAI startup (Founding Engineer): +20% Total Comp, <1% equity, high risk & steep learning 2.Datadog (Senior Applied AI Scientist): +50% Total Comp, purely technical, focus on model building/deployment 3. Publicis Sapient (Lead Data Scientist): +100% Total Comp, hybrid tech/strategy, lead GenAI initiatives Goal: exit consulting in 2–3 years to launch my own startup. Thoughts?

Moving from Big 4 ERP consulting to a startup feels like the next right step—I want to work somewhere the work actually matters and my impact is tangible. I’m especially drawn to early-stage startups working on AI-driven supply chain solutions. Curious what roles tend to suit folks with ERP implementation and stakeholder strategy backgrounds. How do you actually find these startups? Any and all advice would be appreciated, thanks!

STEM careers are evolving faster than ever — AI, chip design, renewable energy, biotech — all redefining what’s possible. As professionals in this space, how are you keeping your skills relevant? I work in ASIC design and verification, and lately, AI-driven automation has been a game changer. Curious to hear: what’s the one emerging skill you think every engineer or scientist should start learning in 2025?

I got my PGT-A results back. Of my 3 embryos, only one came back euploid. I go to Shady Grove and their communication with me could not be worse. My question to you ladies is: since I’m 37, should I try another round of retrievals so I get more embryos? Or should I just hope this one sticks? I’d like to have a bigger family but I’m honestly shocked at how I’ve fared every step of the way…
