Newly promoted VP, grateful for the opportunity. I was told about my promo via phone. I still don’t have a final JD & I was verbally told my new salary “more than 10k increase”. I was under the impression I’d be having 1 team move under me. With unexpected org changes I now have 2 add’l teams w/ 4 more people — plus my orig team of 7. Overall I now oversee 4 functions. I plan to resurface seeing my final, updated JD & the exact salary. Looking for insight, is that increase low per addt’l scope?

What's a decent salary increase? been at my company about 2 years, just been offered 2.5% in my mid year review. Possible bonus at EOY, depends on my performance... I'm feeling a bit miffed, I feel I'm tracking above average. E.G. elected to Committee member of an industry association, presented at a national conference (public speaking was on my PDP, worked really hard at this and nailed it), won contract extension on important contract. Manager says this is all expected at my Level. Thoughts?
