At what age did you start your first entrepreneurial venture? I know this is the age of young start-up and business owners, but as a 22-year-old working in law, and hoping to finally feel like she knows what she's doing at her job, I sometimes wonder if it's better to start when you're not too busy figuring your career out. Any advice on this topic? The business I want to start is offering contract review and legal document preparation services for small businesses or freelancers.

Chat Topic: 💡 What’s the hardest truth you’ve learned since launching your startup? Starting a business teaches you things no book or course ever could. Whether it’s about hiring, scaling, burnout, or staying consistent when motivation fades ,every entrepreneur has a lesson that changed the way they move. Curious to hear yours 👇 I’ll go first: At Prestige Impact Centre, we learned early that talent without discipline doesn’t build results ,systems and follow-through do. @prestigeimpactcenter

Hi all. Wondering if consultants in this bowl think about starting own businesses? And do you take active steps to do that? I dont see a lot here talk about that, compared to exiting to other employment. I used to be employed, but always wanted to start a business. I started one recently and it’s still not generating the money I want, but wouldn’t want to go back to being employed. Rather i’m thinking of starting another one once this one picks up a little. What’s your thought on this?

Startup is not my intention. I have no entrepreneurship. But my situation pushed me to open my own business. My previous company has heavily restricted the structure and laid off employees. My salary decreased. I have 4 family members including myself. I have submitted almost 200 resumes, but the companies I submitted all have rejected me. I thought my career or resume is shit, so to prove my work i produced my own website and app as portfolio. I have done my best, but very afraid of the future

Looking for a technical co-founder/CTO to join a stealth B2B SaaS startup in the enterprise AI space. (AI-driven revenue orchestration). Ideal partner is hands-on, scrappy, and entrepreneurial — comfortable helping us get from proof of concept to product-market fit, with expertise in LLMs, agentic architectures (LangGraph, MCP, A2A), and scaling systems from prototype to enterprise-grade. Equity-driven role with the potential to grow into full-time as we secure funding.

I am very excited to share that I have officially started my new career with enterprise mobility as part of their sales management trainee program! And I can honestly say it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made. From the first interview through the whole interview process to the start of day one it’s been an exciting and enjoyable experience to learn about this amazing company and how amazing all the employees are and now that I can say and call them my colleagues it’s been the best!

Thanks for the read. I’ve been in corporate America for 20+ years as an independent contributor, The future is AI focused replacing many jobs. I’m planning on expanding my skills but could go in many different directions. I’m curious about experiences of others and the roadblocks encountered. I’m not locked into the financial sector and open to exploring new possibilities. However, I’m not quite sure how to get started because it seems overwhelming! Thoughts? Thanks!!

Hi everyone! I’m looking to join a startup as a Business/Data Analyst (remote or hybrid). I bring 4+ years of experience in analytics and strategy—most recently at Wells Fargo—and have a Master’s in CS from NYIT. Skilled in SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, AWS, Agile, and building from scratch. Excited to work in fast-paced, data-driven environments where I can grow and make an impact. Would love to connect if your startup is hiring or if you can refer me. Thanks! 🙏

With AI making insane leaps recently (especially Claude) has anyone thought about investing or opening other businesses? A lot of people may laugh at the concept of trying to do something AI can’t take, but as someone who’s early career and has seen the effects of AI on my friends who got laid off, it makes me curious about other areas to possibly look into as someone who’s business minded. I work as a Data Engineer, and tbh AI can easily wipe away what I do.

I’m exploring a move from entrepreneurship back into the workforce and would value some perspective. Pre-entrepreneurship, my background was in logistics and supply chain. I later built and scaled service businesses with full ownership of operations, pricing, cash flow, and delivery. I have a strong interest in finance, especially IPOs, earnings, and med-tech. Hybrid or remote preferred as I am a single full-time dad.
