I applied for a job today, and on the questionnaire that no one looks at, they asked a question that baffled me. Well, the request rather, was to write down something that makes me unique. They said make sure to write something that catches their eye (not exaggerating) . I was wondering if they were serious. My thing is... aren't we all unique in our own ways. What could I say that no one else said so far? Its starting to feel like a game thats sometimes and unpredictable in the worst ways.

If you misquote, what are the repercussions? Our team has had a number of quoting errors recently, and leadership updated our commission structure to address it. They’ve added a clause where we’re now liable for 50% of any missed revenue. So, if I underquote by $10K, they deduct $5K from my pay. That feels pretty extreme to me. I understand the need for accountability, but our quoting process is complex and outdated, which makes mistakes more likely. Is this standard practice anywhere else?

Welp, I got into an argument w/boyfriend/roommate on the first day of the new year. He said he was preparing to go to his mom's house today & said he needed the air pump for his car & I told him I was gonna get dressed & would give it to him b/c I was getting ready to take the trash out. He said, "im not waiting for you to get dressed. Youre gonna take like 10 mins & im not waiting that long. Im on a timed schedule."I said, "Im not gonna take that long."Then I said "you're so impatient."(CONTD)

I knocked on a door today and the guy opened it, looked at me, looked at my badge… and just went “go on then, make it quick”... I stepped in thinking alright, this could go either way.. 15 minutes later we were talking about his WiFi, his neighbour’s WiFi, his dog, and somehow his life story. At the end he goes “I am not switching by the way, just enjoyed the chat” I just stood there like… fair enough 😂... end of week energy is real... what is the most random conversation you have had?

I'm thrilled to share my experience with Everise! I'm about to start my new journey with this incredible company, and I'm excited to share why I wholeheartedly recommend them. From the moment I applied, the hiring team was supportive and helpful throughout the entire process. They guided me through each step, ensuring I had everything I needed to succeed. The interview process was smooth and professional, and I appreciated the opportunity to showcase my skills and experience.

Last week I rushed into a meeting still holding my grocery bag because traffic ate up all my prep time. Of course, that’s when my boss asked me to “share something insightful.” My mind went blank, so I blurted out, “Always double-bag your milk.” Everyone laughed, but now I’m forever the “grocery philosopher.” Funny thing is, people keep asking me for life hacks. Have you ever said something random that somehow stuck with everyone?

Have you ever said something in an interview and instantly wished you could rewind the moment During an interview for a database role, I explained that I enjoy organizing data and that the process itself keeps me motivated. The second I said it, I realized it might have sounded more suggestive than I intended. What is the most awkward thing you have accidentally said during an interview?

Had a bit of a run‑in with a “colleague” today. They gave a customer a quote… then suddenly didn’t want to take ownership of it because “it’s not my customer.” I’m sorry, what? If you had no intention of seeing it through, why quote them in the first place? Accountability isn’t optional. If you put your name on something, you follow it through. End of story.

What's the cruelest thing at work someone ever said to you that you still remember word for word? I’ll go first - my former boss when I was struggling learning excel formulas said, “I don’t know why we hire such idiots”. Made me too afraid to ever ask a question again.
