𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 I’ve been spending time with BCG’s Retail Banking Report, and Exhibit 7 — the Agentic AI Staircase — is the clearest framework I’ve seen for understanding where banks actually sit today and what AI-first banking really means. Had one of those classic banking calls the other day. Someone was convinced there were random charges on their card that they definitely didn’t make. So we start going through the transactions together, coffee shop, groceries, a couple online purchases. There’s a little pause and then it clicks. “Oh wait I think I gave my card to my daughter yesterday.” Or “Actually my partner might’ve used it.” And just like that, mystery solved! Bank statements have a funny way of jogging people’s memory!

      Interview Tips

      Barista
      2mo

Hi, I'm currently work as a barista. I'm bilingual in Vietnamese and English, and I've been searching for a chance to move further into banker role. I had a couple in-person interviews (final step) for some regional banks, but mostly could not land a job. I'm seeking for any tips or advice on which tasks I should focus on for any future teller job openings. For me its really hard to get into banking right now without experience, even though they say it's entry-level. Thanks for your comments

Warning signs much? Saw a posting on LinkedIn from some credit union job opening. Yes, banking is a warning sign all by itself. (Systematics/Alltel) Infosec analyst, yay! That lasted for a short time and turned into, "RUN" They wanted access, application, server, endpoint, infrastructure cloud VOIP and Citrix administration. (and I think I missed some) Nothing like hiring 1 person to do the work of several teams with the max salary of something like 120k. And they wanted experience....

I recently got married, and we are planning to combine finances fully. We are not well off by any means, but we still do our best to save what we can.I bank with wells Fargo and he banks with Chase. Would like some suggestions on where we should open a new account together. In GA for reference. A little nervous about potentially doing online banking that doesn't have a physical branch but some seem to have great interest in savings accounts.

      Relationship Banker I
      10mo

I am starting next week as a RB1 first time working at Regions Bank. I need advice on making it count and having a great experience so i can build a career in this industry. I am very excited but also nervous because I have read a lot of negativities about working as a teller. Is it as bad as they say? I have handled all kinds of people in my opinion, starting from fast food, retail, furniture industries. As well as toxic environments. Any advice would help, thank you!

Anybody have a bank that they like? Recently married and looking to make a new joint account for joint expenses & bills (pls don't give me advice about that it's happening). Also need to finally break up with Bank of America because... well basically everything about that company. Who do you use and why do you recommend them? Heard good things about Ally, a good choice? Anyone use the banking offerings from Fidelity/SoFi/Wealthfront?

      6mo

I just got a one way interview with BMO as a customer rep. I have years of experience in the service industry but I am hoping to branch out and get into the banking world. I was wondering if any of you have gone through this process before, any tips you'd like to share, what kind of questions were asked? I've never had an interview with a bank before so id like to prepare for it. Thanks
