I swear these little monsters are so addictive. The only good thing that has come out of being laid off is the number of cafes I've been exploring. I just sit there for a few hours to apply to jobs or research companies, and buy the cheapest coffee there is to buy. I didn't have the time to explore what my neighborhood had to offer because work ate up all of it. Anyway, one of these cafes had a macchiato for $3.50. I've never tried a traditional macchiato before that.. the only one I've ever tried was Starbucks, which was obviously the bastardized version. I'm so wired and focused on these macchiatos, WISH I HAD A JOB to focus on lol.

My manager continues to police my breaks. I do not take them frequently or in excess, by any means. He recently reprimanded me for needing to take my dog out. My dog?? Really??? I’m going to stop putting in the channel when I’m stepping away… I have the needed apps on my phone so I won’t even actually be “away.” I am looking for another job. I have interviews coming up. But in the meantime, what would you do if your manager was like this? It’s beyond demoralizing and frustrating.

Please, help me make sense of the following. While working in my position management made it very hard for me. I was treated horribly, because they merely got their jobs because of a masters degrees. I have since accepted a job in management with a significant pay raise. Now frick & frat wants match it, because they don't know my job. They don't trust that the other person would do as well. So, in a nut shell the manager that gave me a low performance score wants me to stay. 🤣 Should I?🤣😂😅

Ever notice how the people who brag about being servant leaders are the same ones who vanish the second there’s actual work to do? My manager uses that phrase in almost every meeting then proceeded to dump their entire workload on us while taking credit for anything that went right. I led three client projects solo while they supported from a strategic level, aka sat in meetings and repeated our work as their own. How do you handle a manager like this?

If you're Hispanic or even just love horchata like I do, I don't know how you can pass on these. Has anyone tried them? I try to have a rule not to buy cookies because the Lord knows I can eat a whole bag of cookies in one sitting. However, if there are testimonies of this being exceptionally good, I don't mind breaking a rule or two! And the packaging and colors are so good!!
