As an electrical engineer, my experience with QESCO has been a defining part of my career. I have worked on power distribution, system operations, fault analysis, and maintenance coordination, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world electrical networks. The Worklife Bowl

Rogers culling it's workforce to the tune of 10,000 people - almost 50% of its workforce. Last June, they ordered employees back to the office 5 days per week to "support the development of teams and employees' career growth". 🤔 When I worked in telecom, workforce reductions were a regular recurrence, but not at this rate. What signal does this send to employees? Would you take the package or risk being laid off? Whose got thoughts to share?

What is an appropriate frequency to change jobs? A client of mine is really unhappy with some parts of her current job and has an awesome opportunity to take another job with a company she knows she likes. She’s concerned that a switch after 6 months is too risky for her resume. I think if she is confident in the move, the resume concern is moot. Thoughts?

Have you heard of 996? It’s a 9 a.m. to 9 p.m, six days a week work schedule that is apparently the new thing in San Fran's tech scene. How many of you would be okay with something like that? I doubt any of us would be, but I'm still curious. What kind of money or benefit or lifestyle would you do it for, if any?

Good afternoon I am a Fire Alarm engineer and looking to make a shift to either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Are there any certificates that are REQUIRED for any of those disciplines? Do I need to get them before I start? What about outside the US, are they required??? Thank you in advance!
