Breaking into freelance game programming is rough. My biggest hurdle? Finding clients. This industry's all about contacts, which I barely have. How do other freelance game devs (artists, designers, programmers) land gigs? (Is cold pitching game companies a thing?) "Niche down" is tricky for programming.
