When you’re normalizing insurance have you ever used the most recent premium and spread that annual amount for each period? We don’t have access to the other policies only the one in 2025-2026. I think I’ve done this in the past but only when the annual premiums were consistent. This particular project went from $5M in 2021 to 50M in TTM. So the annual total insurance expense was a lot lower historically. Seems a bit aggressive to run rate with the current policy. Any thoughts? No GL either.

Escaped the hell of general liability insurance defense. Got some commercial lit experience. Moving out to a new commercial lit boutique. 4/5 of the partners said that I’d definitely be spread through the real estate/employment/commercial litigation practices. Partner five said that while they have zero insurance company clients, sometimes landlords/developers they do work for ask for a rogue slip and fall case so they don’t have to report it to their carrier. I pushed and he said that it would

Considering insurance options - what do people have? Thus far ours are a bit of insurance from our employers (I know we lose it if we leave our jobs, hence this question). We of course have car, home, and umbrella. We also have AICPA LTD (it's pretty inexpensive). Should we explore other LTD? Should we explore Long term care (spouse and I are both 35, no kids but exploring in the next year or so). We're taking a look at laddered term life but don't know where to start. Anything else?

I have been in insurance for close to 15 years, in my current role close to 10. I'm looking at other options that would be more beneficial for me in my career. I wondered how this (see photo below) looks for others in the same kind of situation. The last few years I was planning to move into a Sales Agent role that had presented itself in a way where I would of been set starti g out in that role. Now that is no longer "going to happen", so I was told. So it's time to move on....

Does anyone know of any good Car Insurance providers to sign up for? I don't want Geico anymore because my monthly insurance rate is $94.50, which is wayy too high & is the highest it has ever been. Not sure why because I have not had any accidents--just a few tickets. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks!

I'm a 27 YO woman with a partner and two kids - thinking to get universal life insurance but not sure which type is the best for investment/ building wealth purposes. And obviously I want a death cash benefit for my children. Thank you in advance

Hi, any Private Placement Life Insurance (PPLI) lawyers here specialising in structuring bespoke, tax-efficient, high-value life insurance policies for ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWI) and families (based in London, England)? Looking to move in that direction and wanted some insight. Thank you.

Looking into starting a GLP1 curious to know for McKinsey insurance (or other folks with Cigna!) how did you get it covered? My doctor is sending me for a sleep test (with sleep apnea they’ll cover it) but I know I don’t have sleep apnea

Just reflecting on how I got to this point in my life. If you think about it, none of us set out to work in insurance when we went to college. Yet, here we are. What was your gateway into the insurance game? Like, what was your first job at which agency?

Looking to my life insurance experts. I need to buy a term policy to act as a gap until we get permanent/whole life. Looking for $5M-$10M. Who do you use and recommend? And can we buy multiple policies to get the total amount of coverage needed?
