I have been a statistical analyst at CDPHE for the last 3.5 years working with surveillance data. Before this i was a clinical research coordinator at children't hospital after getting my MPH. I want to transition to global health work (my MPH is in epidemiology and global health) and away from data-heavy roles, and do work more related to social determinants of health rather than diseases. What are next roles to look for to give me experience that will help me qualify for global health roles?

Looking for your wisdom: I'm starting my MBA program as a tech professional (web dev, data analysis) with 20 years experience. Trying to determine my focus and certifications. I'm passionate about sustainability and want to be a global sustainability strategy consultant. I love to travel! I'm considering certs in global strategy and sustainability, maybe AI too. Am I missing the mark? Other options are finance, supply chain, Business Analytics (but I have an analytics background already).

I am torn between pursuing travel nursing or getting my cdl. I have early stage degenerative disc disease at 35. I’ve been trying to get in with a specialist to see what is the best treatment. I know it’s incurable so I’ve done my own research. I’m staying active, stretching and walking 25 mins a day. It helps with the stiffness a little. Lifting ppl isn’t safe in nursing and sitting isn’t recommended for several hours while trucking. I am literally stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Currently in D commercial insights role at mid sized pharma. Amazing WLB, remote w/great intl travel, but ultimately role won’t evolve past market research and offering insights to marketing and BD team. Have offer for D strategy role at Big Pharma. Would be hybrid, mostly US travel, but role shifts to center of some critical issues. WLB would decrease but estimated TC increases by 65K. For those already in industry, what are your thoughts on strategy as a function? Career progression? TIA

I have been through several interviews with a medical device company called "Hologic". Everyone I've met with has been very professional and that's to be expected in a job interview. What stands out for me with Hologic is the personal connection I felt with each of my interviews. The reason this matters so much to me is because at this stage of life, it's not just looking for any job. I'm looking for a place to call home for the rest of my ~15yr career.

PwC offered me a position in international tax full time offer and Deloitte offered me one in global mobility tax. I did a global mobility internship in my junior year but I wasn’t crazy about it but international tax seems to be more interesting. What do you think is more marketable skill and experience to have? I liked Deloitte as a company but I’m very hesitant in taking global mobility as I don’t know if I want that to be my career path
