Hi Everyone. In a situation I haven't experience for a very long time. My Role was eliminated and I'm looking for my next Senior HR Role locally in Houston or open to relocating as well for the right role. I have over 12 years of HR Strategic and Operational Leadership experience with Hewlett Packard Enterprise from Project/Program rollouts to Crisis and Compliance expertise. My background is in Technology but open to Healthcare, Finance, or other Professional organizations.
The handling of the closure of HP’s San Diego office has been a mess. Some people have received move or exit packages and know their last day and others have received nothing. We are being told that it is with HR and only they know. The site is closing on Oct 31 so the final date is known but nothing else is. Anyone else seeing this? This is really disappointing how badly this is being handled.
I recently completed my final round for a Software Engineer role at HPE USA. About 2 weeks ago, the recruiter shared positive feedback. I’m looking to understand the typical timeline from final interview to receiving an offer at HPE. For those who’ve interviewed with HPE recently how long did it take from final round to receiving a written offer? Any suggestions on how best navigate?

Do you think now is the best time to buy an EV since the EV tax credit is going away in September? My wife and I are contemplating buying a Tesla, but not sure what the right move is. I wonder if the prices will go down in the future, and it's probably better to look into the purchase later. Would love your thoughts on this!
Tesla opened a restaurant in LA and it’s brilliant. It’s designed for drivers who need to charge their vehicles to have a top notch experience, think good food, huge movie screens etc., and I love it. It’s outside the realm of what Tesla normally does but it’s all about customer experience
I completed two HP LIFE courses in January 2026. The Professional Networking course taught me how to build connections confidently, while the Cash Flow course helped me understand financial management better. Both will support my career growth ahead.
My team is hiring! Got an innovation spirit? We are looking for leaders in AI, Hardware Engineering, Human Computer Interfaces, and Edge Computing. Come join me in creating the future TODAY! https://apply.hp.com/careers?start=0&location=Spring
Talk me out of buying a brand new Tesla Model Y. It’s my dream car (actually, the brand Tesla) and I’ve been trying to justify buying it no matter what.
