This past year has been a turning point. At 36, I chose to rebuild my career and pursue the work I’m truly drawn to—systems, workflows, problem‑solving, and helping teams use technology effectively. I completed the UBC Sauder Business Analysis program, earned my ECBA, and am grateful to IIBA Vancouver for the scholarship and feature. I’m now exploring BA/BSA, operations analysis, and ERP support roles. If opportunities come to mind, I’d appreciate being considered.🤝

Question about HSAs. I had an investment in an HSA blow up and I’ve seen the balance grow pretty significantly (north of 150k) I’m only 33 and in pretty good health. Is there any reason not to leave the larger investments in the HSA? It’s with Schwab so I have pretty solid investment options and my understanding is that I can use it as a retirement fund once I reach 67. But, curious to see if any others have views on this.

Learned something cool today! You can open an HSA with any provider of your choice as long as you have an existing HSA. For years I assumed I had to stay with my old company's crappy HSA. Between fees and minimums it probably cost me thousands. But today I opened a Fidelity account and transferred everything. Old news for many of you I'm sure, but I was stoked to learn this.

I had a lowish GPA (3.1) from a semi-target but managed to get into MBB by networking effectively and being good at casing/BSing. Now that full MBA sponsorship is on the table, I’m interested in taking advantage of that, but only if I can get into HSW. Do I have a chance given my experience or will my GPA kill my application? Wondering if it’s even worth prepping for GMAT

What's the latest understanding regarding HSW rankings to help a MBB consultant into IB and PE? I would imagine that there is in large no huge difference as although Wharton is a more finance heavy, Stanford has a better alumni network, etc. Appreciate any 2 cents although indeed I would right now be happy to get into any of the 3 I get accepted into haha.. Thanks!

Hello, I would like to understand the company's culture and all the pros and cons of being an Investment Relations Associate in HSBC Singapore. If anyone here is in this department/have been in this department before, please let me know what to expect and how I can overcome any challenges you have/are currently experiencing. Thank you!

Which MBBs do the most work/have the largest accounts for each PE megafund? For example, ik Strategy& PwC does a lot of work for KKR and sometimes Blackstone (first-hand experience in their deals team). Am wondering what is the MBB-equivalent McKinsey & Company Boston Consulting Group (BCG) . Bain Capital Bain & Company

Currently at mbb and strongly considering the Kellogg 1Y MBA program, given I am not looking to pivot (hopefully get sponsored and then return) and 2Y just feels too long, also given I‘ve already got a masters and am a bit older. However, would it be a mistake not to go to HSW in case I get a chance?

I’ve completed a few rounds of hiring stages for the AVP – MI & Analytics role at HSBC India, including the technical written assessment, behavioural assessment, and the on-demand video interview. From here, how many further interview rounds are typically conducted? Any guidance on what to expect next would be helpful.
