Looking for advice on IE vs NPI/Project mgmt. Currently working as an Industrial Engineer sustaining manufacturing lines and working on various continuous improvement projects. Current company offered an NPI engineering role. I like my current boss/mentor and am in line for a promotion. However, I like the new role in NPI, it will involve working on cool new projects with many teams including leadership. Looking for advice/thoughts on career paths for NPI/PM vs IE, should I prioritize one more?

Good parenting prevails!! I have a 5 year old student that was on an IEP that turned 5 a few days before the cut-off for this school year. His parents put him in full day kindergarten even though he has really been struggling. During parent teacher conferences, the parents were convinced that holding him back another year would be more beneficial to their child, and so they pulled him! I think it was the right call. The services will still be here if he needs them when he returns next year.

Omg technology is going to take my job. I just discovered you can move text from one slide to another without re-typing it and my anxiety is through the roof. I used to spend hours manually transferring bullet points. Since Microsoft released this “copy/paste,” it takes three seconds. If this "clipboard" tech takes off, what is actually left for us to do? This is probably what’s tanking Accenture’s stock price. Is anyone else freaking out?

I have a college degree and meet that requirement to work as a Collaborative Special Education (minimally/low moderate SPED students taking classes with their non-SPED peers). I've had a couple of interviews, but each time I'm asked my method/or experience in writing IEPs (Individualized Education Program) or sitting in on IEP meetings, of course, it's ZERO experience. That pretty much ends the interview. Advice anyone?
