It should not take snaps, claps, music, phrases, and tunes to get students to pay attention. The attention span of these kids is a -0. “Please get out your books and turn to page 12” has now turned to Clap, once, clap twice. Level O, get ready set: open up your books to page 12 (repeat twice) because if you repeat once you’re only going to get about half the class ready. After that there’s still going to be 5 staring into space, with no book in sight. It’s exhausting. Am I alone in this?

Hello everyone, I’ve been working as a Python Developer for over 1.5 years now, but I still feel like I have a long way to go in terms of expanding my knowledge and skills. I’m eager to continue growing, but I’m not sure where to focus my efforts or what specific areas to dive deeper into. I’d really appreciate any insights or resources that could point me in the right direction. Whether it’s a specific course, or general advice from your own experience, anything would be extremely helpful!

I'm 24, a Software Engineering grad, and I genuinely love this stuff. I’m solid with WordPress, to Front-end. I’m currently grinding through Full Stack, but I’m exhausted. I’m not even chasing a paycheck I just want an internship to learn. But when every "entry" role demands an expert, it feels like I’m stuck in an infinite loop of learning without a door to walk through. It feels like a never-ending loop of learning without a chance to actually apply it.

What’s the hardest concept you’ve had to learn in tech? For me, it wasn’t a coding language or framework—it was realizing that you can’t learn everything at once. Early in my career, I thought I could read code and instantly “get it.” But understanding complex systems means breaking things down and learning components first. Curious—what’s been your toughest learning curve? Drop it below 👇

AI upskilling paralysis is real. As a PM, I know I need to learn AI, but I'm stuck on how. Do I just grab a generic Udemy ML course and hope for the best? Or is it smarter to use one of these new planner tools to build an actual strategy first (like this one: l.artics-us.com/us)? Is this strategic, or just a new form of procrastination? Would love to know what others are doing.

After moving into a new role, I’ve caught myself missing the comfort of knowing exactly how everything works. There’s more energy in starting over, but also more friction. It’s made me wonder what pace of learning we actually prefer once we’re not new to our careers. How do you balance the comfort of mastery with the growth of being stretched?

A marketing lesson we can all relate to 😂 Using Mario as an example to teach a lesson will grab anyone's attention... But really, this is probably the future of learning. Google AI is already taking school text books and converting them into material that uses game characters, movies, sports, etc to teach the subject.

As with any new technology, there are so many instructional videos and suggestions on how to learn about AI. I do use AI, but I still feel like a total novice. Could anyone direct me to the most valuable videos and some AI-certified programs that are not outrageously priced or overly complex? Many thanks.
