Breaking: SEC dismissed Gemini Earn case With Prejudice-full closure after 100% investor returns. Is this a big win for the Winklevoss twins or what? They returned all investor funds+ settlements and restitution showing transparency is King of Fintech Compliance. Do you agree? Or is there a bigger play happening behind the scenes. Check out my article on Linkedin. https://www.linkedin.com/posts/jasonburr101_breaking-sec-drops-gemini-case-with-prejudice-activity-7420598894369218560-9W4S?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop&rcm=ACoAAFbJt4oBTMtQTMfHjXCttytMd6FffseLvsA

All consultants: I’m exploring ways to generate some additional income in the US and would appreciate your suggestions. I’ve been working in strategy and finance for the past five years and am considering enrolling for expert sessions on platforms like AlphaSights. Has anyone done this, and is it typically allowed without violating company policies or confidentiality obligations? Additionally, I’d welcome any other ideas or experiences you’re willing to share!

I wrote my first product that is in alpha. I should be happy, but I'm irritated. osted my project to r/commandline today. Two years of work on a Windows shell, alpha release, looking for feedback. Got removed by mods for not slapping an "AI-generated" disclaimer on it. Got a top comment calling my work cringe and telling me I'm "worshipping imposter syndrome" — from someone who clearly didn't read a line of the code. Sometimes, I really hate Tech

Anyone work for United Health Group/Optum Insight? There is a position open and after being laid off from my job in October Im wondering if this would land me back in the same spot. Plus they give no ideas on PTO. State all these other incentives but no mention of PTO. Anyone have Pros & Cons? I know each department is different. It would be for a Senior Data Entry Clerk. Any Insight would be great on the company as a whole.

Wanted to share a project a buddy of mine (ex-EY) is working on - he’s building a new audit platform that actually looks promising. I’ve seen the beta and it looks like it might just help solve a few headaches auditors deal with, rather than just another AI assistant tool. Keep this on your radar for launch. Has anyone heard of the company Insight Solutions/Be-Insight Solutions? I believe this may be a scam attempt, but I wanted to double check. A “senior HR” rep reached out to me after seeing my Handshake profile. However, I can’t find a trace of this company or the representative..

Can anyone at STB in the NY Private Funds group share insight about their relative WLB? Obviously, I know it’s not some 9-5 practice, but would love to hear actual experiences and what exits look like (either being able to move to another firm as a senior associate or go in-house)

Trying to piece together what I’ve seen on different posts. Can anyone in/familiar with NACR confirm the comp below: Analyst 110-200 (expect ~140) Associate 200-300 (expect 250) Senior Associate - 300-very high (400 is reasonable) Any info would be so appreciated! Also have heard it’s 2 years at both Analyst and Associate

They tell you that doing three years in audit opens every door in finance, but it feels like I’m trapped in a room with no handles. Every equity research role I apply for tells me I lack the investment mindset, and the PE recruiters won't even look at me without an IB pedigree. How do you actually pivot?? I’m lost.
