I applied for a remote Trust & Safety Compliance role at Instacart and really wanted the job. The interviewer was new to conducting interviews—she mentioned Instacart gave her a chance to transition into this role—but she was very kind. I’ve even worked at a similar company in the same field, I worry I might have fumbled the interview. It’s been two weeks with no response. Indiana-based employees no longer have access to Centene’s traditional group medical plan and are required to use an ICHRA with individual marketplace insurance. The available plans are significantly more expensive, have higher deductibles, less comprehensive coverage, and limited provider networks. I have been unable to find in-network providers that meet my healthcare needs. This creates unequal access to healthcare based solely on location.

I’m a second year associate in my first year of doing insurer side insurance coverage work (zero lit). Sometimes I find the coverage work interesting, and I have great WLB, but most of the time I find it boring and unfulfilling. I’m thinking of going back into litigation. Can’t decide what I’d like better, benefits long term, exit options, etc. any ins coverage people have thoughts on what they like and don’t like about the practice?

AITA if I start asking recruiters to fill up a basic "application form" before deciding to talk further? 90% of the time they don't really seem to read my profile and offer me things that aren't appropriate. I also know by this stage of my career what will work for me and what won't giving me 4-5 simple "red lines" which if they aren't in place, theres no point in having "a quick call" Has anyone done this?
