I loved my tenure at TAEC In my entire work history in the valley, I’d rate it as #1 Being an FAE, I rolled with the big boys to demo our products on conferences such as HP Discover, Dell World, VMWorld, Intel IDF, Gartner Summit, Super Computing, On all trips incl our meeting with the C-decision makers in Yokohama & Tokyo, i flew business class No other firms can top that & all the perks that they provided me Bar none, TAEC is at its best vs Samsung, SK Hynix, Marvell, Oracle, NetApp,

SLC, UT — Commercial Lines Account Manager with 5 years’ experience (often mistaken for 10+). I manage ~200 accounts spanning Small Business, Mid-Market, and flagship clients, with multiple complex lines. My book is approximately $2.6M in premium. CISR-designated, with plans to pursue CIC and CRM. I recently asked for $80K (currently at $63K and feeling under-market). Curious what others in our area are earning and how that aligns with years in the role, designations, and scope of responsibility

My PML has been rescheduling my monthly check-in since last month, which I understand given how busy one can get around this time. I was looking forward to today’s call which now has been pushed to April 22 and tagged as part of the mid-year 2026 discussion Last week, he also asked me to upload my CPA license to SSC. I’m a Senior andwithin promotion window, and I’m trying to read between the lines a bit here since there hasn’t been any direct communication of promotion so far. Any thoughts

Dynamic currency conversion (DCC) is a financial service used in international transactions, when a customer from one country makes a credit or debit card purchase in another. DCC allows the transaction to be processed at the point of sale in the currency of the cardholder’s home country. The global credit card payments market is forecast to jump from $524.9 billion in 2022 to $1.2 trillion by 2032, and cross-border payments are an important piece of that growth.

      In-House Counsel

      Product Counsel

Advice on how I can build toward a GC role (maybe at a small pharma?)? I’m currently a product counsel in pharma, 7th year, previously was compliance counsel at another pharma, and did HC/LS corporate/regulatory/transactional work at firms prior to that. I support multiple brands as well as serve as Privacy Officer for the U.S. and Canada. Just started taking over employment law work from the GC as well. No direct reports. Any advice?

Is my path to GC realistic? 32yo, going into my 7th year, now lead Product Counsel in Pharma reporting to GC, previously in house in a niche regulatory role for 2 years. Was a HC/LS regulatory and transactional attorney for 4 years prior to that. I’m also the US Privacy Officer and am taking on new areas of law like employment counsel and AI. What more can I do in the long run to someday be a GC?

I’ve been a contractor for 4 years, the last year being at a large bank. They made me permanent a couple months ago. Just got another offer for contracting legal manager (applied before being made permanent) 20% more money, global company. I really want stability, and not sure abt how it’ll look on my cv, but this offer looks way too good, making me anxious..thoughts? What’s the best path for GC?
