If you work for a company that offers remote work and is generally not terrible to work for, please share the name of the company. Now that fidelity will require full RTO, I am looking for somewhere that won't require me to commute in just so I can sit in zoom meetings from the office where literally none of my team is colocated.

Anyone here who does moonlighting? Maybe 2 FT or 1 FT and 1 part time with flexible hours? I was recently approached for a part time position with flexible hours. The pay rate is quite good and I would love to have extra money. I think I will be able to manage that as it is not overlapping 70-80% of my FT job hours. My FT jobs is also remote, so I have flexibility there as well. I am mostly interested in knowing about burnouts, extra pressure or maybe some other problems that I don't know off.

At Lighthouse Credit Union, the constant resignations and serial layoffs are disheartening. The flood of overpaid former consultants into leadership is a slap in the face. There’s no real accountability to the Members who own the credit union. With so many moving their money to HRCU and Service, the Board should wake up—before they face not just outrage, but possibly a class action.

Hey guys, recently got a job at Lockheed which is fully remote. I don’t see much info on the PTO. But do new hires get the 40 hours floating as well? And would it be possible to use during thanksgiving week or do they usually carry out lots of projects then? I know it may depend on the department but just wanted to get thoughts

Put in my 2 weeks notice today because I am relocating to FL. I don’t have a job lined up yet but I have been searching for weeks. I am looking for something fully remote or hybrid. This decision was a tough one to make but I believe it was the right one. If anyone has any leads it would be greatly appreciated! :)

This is usually the slowest time of the year, but I am finding myself more busy and tired than ever. Really trying to stay motivated and in high spirits because being tired from working is a good problem to have. But I’m struggling to find the light at the end of the tunnel…

Do you find the idea of a cabin in the woods appealing for a vacation/weekend getaway (not too far from the city)? I’m thinking of building one to use and also rent out and was wondering if other people like them, too. It wouldn’t be a log cabin, but more of a modern style and maybe have a sauna.
