I’m starting a one-month video editing contract gig with an agency Tue or Wed. They asked if I knew anyone who could take my unavailable days, and as editors know that gets messy with sharing raw footage remotely, file/folder setups, etc. assuming they don’t have a system in place there already. So they set up a Teams call for tomorrow to figure it out. I do prefer to tackle these issues before it starts, but a “Teams” call feels like billable work. Any suggestions?

“Refresh Your Galaxy,” from WPP for Coke in collaboration with Disney, and curated by Open, which is Ogilvy’s bespoke agency. Absolutely brilliant stuff. Looks like Coke plans to sell 27 limited-edition cans and bottles with characters from the franchise, so something great needed to kick that campaign off.... and in my opinion, this spot does the job. Give it a watch and let me know if you would say that too

Honestly, I’ve never seen so much support on a platform such as this. People are struggling to find jobs etc etc and I see how strangers are helping people.. I never get this interaction from so called “friends / family” on instagram if I were to post my problems with work . I actually hate social media. What are some human resource groups apart from this one that you're a part of? I'm trying to be part of as many communities as I can so I can be updated with more conversations in the HR space. I recently got promoted and I want to do my best to keep improving and stay updated about the profession.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a streaming platform mention another platform by name in a description of a show before lol. This is on Apple TV, which just acquired rights to F1 which I’m guessing also gave them rights to Netflix’s Drive to Survive show. Would you have mentioned a competitor if you were Apple?

I write tech blogs that fare well on Reddit and other sites. Is it okay to share/drop link live during a virtual interview with the hiring manager? Would it be come off as unusual or actually help my chances? The hiring manager is deeply technical himself.

Facebook groups aren’t doing it for finding good roommates and plus you have to ask them for their linkedin to truly vet. So why not just have all this as a linkedin group for housing. You want to know exactly who your roommate is and that they can afford rent.

Hot take but @digitalchadvertising has lost touch with most of us. They are on Instagram Stories saying back in the day before Covid they did 5 days a week at 6:30am so we shouldn’t be upset at 4 days mandatory RTO. We lost a real one today
