      Human Resources

      Education Program Specialist
      9mo

Hello! I am a very experienced training and development professional, most recently with extensive experience in designing elearning and administering the organization‘s learning management system (LMS). I am actively job searching (currently employed looking to change employers). I am located in Ohio and interested in remote and/ or hybrid and would consider on-site. Does anyone have recommendations of recruiters to work with specifically in the elearning design and LMS administration fields?

I worked as a trainer for a trucking company. I facilitated in-class training and managed continuous learning by creating PPTs and uploading MP4 videos to an LMS. I do not have formal training in instructional design or a college degree, but want to pursue this career. I'm working on learning Articulate and upskilling with other multi media and editing tools, and brushing up on learning methodologies. My concern is the lack of the degree. I have 6+ years experience, but will that be enough?

      Career Advice for Students

works at California State University, Fullerton

I’m looking to apply to law school next cycle. I graduated May 2025 with an okay GPA, but not ideal. This was due to taking on leadership opportunities and due to personal matters that put a strain on my academic life. I plan to take the LSAT both in August and September, but am worried about admissions. I’m hoping to go to Chapman, but am looking at UCI and Pepperdine as well. I’m open to suggestions and advice if anyone has additional insight. Thanks!

I have been studying for the LSAT since late December, but I'm still scoring 132 on LawHub. Is there a 'hack' that has helped you to improve your scores? Where's a good place to find a tutor? Law school students? Online? I'm also studying for the patent exam. Advice to improve application? BS Physics GPA: 3.27 with 6 withdrawals; MS Information Systems GPA: 3.70. First job at 24 is as a jail admin aide for two months now.

      Career Pivot

      Training Coordinator
      7mo

I'm currently a training coordinator, and want to pivot into entry/mid-level learning & development or instructional design roles. I thought my current experience (2.5 yrs) would help, but I've been applying to tons of jobs with no callbacks. Does anyone have advice on how to break into L&D? If anyone has free/affordable course or certification recommendations, that would be greatly appreciated.

How does the EYP LS practice compare to ZS in terms of projects, exits and progression? Have an offer for both. Levitating more towards the ZS role despite the slightly lower pay / title given my understanding is they are much more established in LS and that EYP LS practice has been started fairly recently when a lot of partners were poached from Guidehouse

Joining a biglaw L&E group after my federal clerkship. Any tips for learning quickly for someone who hasn't done L&E? I'm really excited and ready to dive in but not sure how steep the learning curve will be. I did commercial lit before clerking.
