      Career Advice for Students

      works at IE Business School
      7mo

Folks, I can use your kind help. The opportunities I seem to be getting post my MBA are quite similar to what I was doing earlier - traveling to client sites every week for consulting purposes. I have worked in this space for mines for over 5 years. Anyone who has been on that path, can you help me understanding some sustainable alternatives please? Exiting in the industry doesn’t interest me. I find PE lucrative but have no experience and exposure. I’m open to other options as well. Thanks all

I am an IP attorney specializing in trademark/copyright matters and am interested in pivoting to consulting, namely MBB. I currently work at a boutique IP firm that handles matters for a variety of clients including multiple F500 clients and large international corporations. I graduated from college with a finance degree in 2019 and went straight through to law school graduating in 2022 (both the same large state school). Would it be possible for me to break into MBB without an MBA?

Mgmt gave me a clear KPI (increase engagement/MAU for existing users) and a proposed solution. There are similar tools; ours would be free/integrated I'm reading Continuous Discovery Habits to prep and want to avoid jumping to delivery. My plan is to treat the solution as an idea and still research/validate the opportunity Some Qs When mgmt gives outcome and solution, how do you conduct discovery? Since MAU is a lagging metric, is it worth replacing it?

Some years ago our employer changed the name of our role from 'phlebotomist' because in our role we did FAR MORE than just phlebotomy. I'm looking for an MA, so, a few questions I'm hoping I can get some help answering. 1. I feel qualified to test for certification simply based on my experience (I don't wanna go back to school). Is this a realistic expectation? 2. If you made a similar transition, did you feel able to hit the ground running in your MA role?

      Jobs in Healthcare

      Patient Access Representative
      8mo

I am hoping I can get advice here. I have worked in healthcare for 19 years in patient access. I have a BS in Healthcare Admin which I just received in December. I can't get a job with the degree due to not having any team lead or management experience. I am having a hard time finding team lead roles and the ones I am finding am requiring me to have a MA degree. Did I just waste the last several years on a degree that I am not able to use? Please help.

      Interview Tips

A recruiter reached out to me about a position but asked me to take a MCQ (multiple choice question) test from "clearedtalent.com" that required me to use a camera and microphone. Does anyone have insight into what this is? What possible MCQ would they ask that requires a recording of me clicking options? It is one thing that another human wants to see and talk to me while I take a test. It is different just record me interacting on a web page.

Hi all! I have 15 years of facilities management experience in middle management and will earn my BS in Business Management soon. I plan to pursue PMP and IFMA certifications but want to continue with a master’s degree. I’m considering Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Project Management. Which master’s program offers the best career prospects and cost-benefit ratio? Are there any other master programs you recommend?
