I left McKinsey a few months ago and now work as a freelance consultant. I really miss VG (our Visual Graphics department) where you can just send slides with some stickies and they will do all the aligning, formatting etc. for you Is there an external service provider that does something like this? Either manually or with AI? My client is also interested in this because the CEO and I are spending way too much time on this stuff… (it doesn’t help that they use Google Slides)

I am a vet tech (certified) and have been working in the field for over 10 years, I have made the decision to go back to school for RN or Sonography (whichever program will take me first). My question follows: How does someone like me transition into human medicine with my experience? I can NOT get anyone to hire me for even the most basic positions that require nothing more than a HS education... I have 3 associates degrees and certifications and have worked healthcare for over 10 years.

Recently relocated to a new state, and it has taken some time to get settled. Seems like there is a lengthy wait to see a new psychiatrist in my area for medication management. Has anyone tried online platforms like Grow Therapy, MedVidi, etc., for medication? What documentation do they typically require in order to prescribe a controlled substance? How quickly are you seem? Any requirements for ongoing testing to confirm your taking the meds? Not opposed to testing, just want to be aware. TIA!

I’ve been working in healthcare integrations for a while now and have strong hands-on experience with Corepoint and MEDITECH . I’d love to broaden my skill set, but I keep running into the same roadblock: Epic and Cerner are hard to break into because you have to be sponsored to get formal training or access.Given that reality, what integration engine or interoperability platform would you recommend learning next? I do have access Microsoft certifications training.

I’ve been a registered xray tech for a year now, and now wanting to pursue a different modality. Ive been really interested in branching out into the mammography field. I’ve only ever had experience working at an orthopedic clinic, and I’m not sure how to go about emailing a local hospital if they could be a clinical site for me since I had already had clinicals there as a xray student. Could any one give me any advice?

Our machines are so outdated that I’m literally praying they don’t error out mid-scan. We’ve reported the issues repeatedly, but leadership keeps delaying replacements pending budget review. Meanwhile, we’re the ones dealing with downtime, repeat scans, and worried patients. It feels unsafe, but no one seems in a hurry to fix it. How do you push for updated equipment?

I’m thinking about going back to school to become an X-ray technician in Michigan. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 5 years but I want to do something more hands on and can still learn different things as well as provide patient care. Does anyone have any pros or cons within this field? Is the outlook pretty good? Will AI be a concern for the future? Thank you :)!

Hello Everyone! Any Mechanical Engineers out there? I am thinking on taking a class to better my skill sets to work alongside Mechanical Engineers and I wanted to know what software would be best for me to learn so I can communicate best with the engineers in this Discipline? I currently use AutoCAD and was wondering if there are other softwares I should learn to use?
