I’m making more than my AE because of a new market accelerator. I’m booking so many meetings in a priority vertical that my commission checks are actually larger than the person who is actually closing the deals. It’s created a very weird dynamic where the AE is resentful of me. I know I should enjoy the glitch in the matrix, but I’m worried management will fix the comp plan as soon as they see the numbers. Should I lay low, or is it time to push for an AE promotion while I have the leverage?

Anyone willing to share insight on shareholder comp at Greenberg Traurig? I know associates love to hate GT because comp is black box and usually below market, but does it get better as you move up? Any sense of comp with originations of $1M? $3M? $5M? (Currently counsel and considering applying for a lateral position, so I’m curious about potential long term upside.) TIA!

I make about 270 total comp as a director in a non-tech company product management role. I oversee all of our Martech technology including CRM. my background is Fintech and I’ve been interviewing for roles, but I can’t find anything with comparable salary. Are there roles out there in the 300 K total comp? At non-FAANG companies.

Do you consider equity part of your “real” comp? I’ve got $40k in RSUs vesting over 4 years, but the stock’s been tanking and it feels like a pipe dream. I’m trying to decide if I should value it or ignore it when I look at offers. How do you actually factor in equity when you evaluate total comp?
