So Novo Nordisk just pulled Wegovy from Hims & Hers after accusing them of selling fake, compounded versions of the drug. Less than two months ago, they were calling it a “long-term partnership.” Now Novo’s saying the knockoffs used unsafe ingredients from overseas and put patient safety at risk. I get the need for access, but if shortcuts are involved, where do we draw the line? What do you think, should telehealth companies be allowed to compound meds like Wegovy, or is that a recipe for disaster?

Recently relocated to a new state, and it has taken some time to get settled. Seems like there is a lengthy wait to see a new psychiatrist in my area for medication management. Has anyone tried online platforms like Grow Therapy, MedVidi, etc., for medication? What documentation do they typically require in order to prescribe a controlled substance? How quickly are you seem? Any requirements for ongoing testing to confirm your taking the meds? Not opposed to testing, just want to be aware. TIA!

My brother is looking to break into med sales. Has prior tech sales experience, very strong bio/anatomy background, high level of clinical experience, and recent masters in biomedical sciences. Has other work experience that translates over well. If someone would be able to refer or speak to him and provide guidance I’d truly appreciate it!

Who else is feeling the pain of the current med shortage? Honestly I feel like it’s the worst it’s been in my 15 years taking meds! And when it does eventually get filled, it’s a terrible generic manufacturer and feels like a sugar pill (personally dealing with adderall specific issues). Are people having better luck with vyvanse?

Hi I got laid off from Medtronic last month and looking for opportunities within the medical device space. I’m currently eyeing out product manager opportunities with Abbott and Boston scientific. Would love to connect with people from either of these firms and introduce myself and see if I would be a good fit.

What's your biggest pet peeve when collaborating with other health care providers/multidisciplinary teams? I find it frustrating when prescribes don't know the legal requirements to the prescriptions they write which increases turnaround time in getting the med to the patient.

I feel like this medication is helping me. I have more motivation and just in a better mood overall. I just really hate the thought of having to take meds everyday. Just that thought alone makes me sad when I think about it, so I try hard not to lol. Does this resonate with anyone else?

How do ppl go through med transitions? I was having side effects so once again changing meds but this time I’m afraid it’s going to take some more time to know if the new one will help. I’m feeling the loss of support from the first med and struggling so bad.
