Chubb is moving to a new office and asking employees to bring the keyboards/mice they were given to new office. They are acting like i was given a brand new keyboard/mouse which both were used when i onboarded. Now at the new office i need reserve a desk where i can’t leave anything at. I’m expected to remove my keyboard/mouse every day where i store in a locker that i also have to reserve every day. This all makes me feel so temporary and not valued. They call it purpose driven workspaces.

      Nurses

      Registered Nurse
      7mo

Hi, I could really use some advice. I am a new grad registered nurse. I started out in the ED and realized even though I loved it I was in over my head and wanted to gain a good foundation. I transferred to Cardiac Step Down to keep with critical patients. I do not mind the work-load. I have come to realize that the floor is negative and its hard. I have only been there about 2 months and I am not happy. Is it just me or does it take a while to find your place in the hospital?

I received news that my 5yo has a terminal brain tumor. At the same time, my company underwent layoffs that eliminated the entire creative department, including my role. I’m now looking for a new opportunity, but I worry that my need for flexibility — to care for my child during treatment — might make it difficult to be considered. I’m still fully committed to contributing meaningfully wherever I work, is there space for someone navigating circumstances like mine? #disheartened

I am looking to kickstart my clinical career at Medpace as a project coordinator, clinical trial assistant or CRC. I noticed 20+ entry level roles opened this past week (applied to all, plus a few intern roles as well). Coming from 2 years of bench experience, I can't think of a better place to start. Anyone here at medpace open to connecting and sharing advice on the interview process over a 15 minute coffee chat? I promise to not take much of your time 😊Medpace

      LPN
      2w

I'm currently seeking a position in the ED as a LPN, I have a year left of RN school and really want to start out in the ED, thinking securing a position as LPN first would give me a solid understanding if it's a for me. I have 4 years of med/surg experience 1 year being in trauma. However, NJ is tough to find positions, I'm currently working Med/surg night shift and bored of it. Anny recs would be greatly appreciated! I'm willing to commute a 50 mile distance from Hope NJ.

      Patient Scheduler
      4mo

I am a patient scheduler and I currently work remotely from home. When I applied to my job there was no mention of a “call center” environment, also not mentioned in the interview. I have been struggling for months in this environment. People ask why do you stay in a job or space that doesn’t help your mental but makes it worst. I say because I still need to pay my bills but I feel like my health is taking a hit. Does anyone know what I mean?
