      As someone in the middle of my career, looking toward 2026 feels both exciting and uncertain.       Sometimes I wonder if tech interviews are actually evolving or just pretending to. Ten years ago, I was solving data structures on a whiteboard. Now it’s live coding or a take-home challenge, but it’s still the same stress test with new branding. Even the culture fit phase feels like rebranded small talk to see if you’ll blend in. Companies keep saying they’re improving the process, but from where I’m sitting, it’s the same old hoops with shinier buzzwords. What’s been your experience?

      Well this really hit me. Some of the people let go had been there since the ‘90s... decades of work gone overnight because the network decided to shift resources. It feels like another sign that legacy entertainment news is shrinking while companies chase social-first platforms. If long-running shows with loyal crews aren’t safe, what does that say about stability in this industry moving forward? Are we looking at a future with fewer traditional jobs and more short-term digital gigs?

      I’ve been in healthcare admin for 10 years, and I’m still chasing signatures, printing forms, and faxing documents like it’s 1995. Every time we get a tech upgrade, it somehow adds more steps, more clicks, more logins, more hoops. Leadership calls it streamlining while my workload gets slower and clunkier.       In your opinion, what is the most important advancement in healthcare in the past 100 years? In my opinion, it is the proliferation of antibiotics, and I say that because it's my belief that antibiotics have lengthened the lifespan of every person. It wasn't that long ago that most people died young due to infections, and we have all but eliminated that situation. What do you think is the most important innovation in the past century?
