I'm a mould designer with 10 years experience. My work experience is in designing silicone and plastic moulds (single shot, over-moulds, rotary moulds, prototype moulds). The designs are for the medical industry, consumer products, and car components. I have also engineered secondary silicone injection units. Designed end of arm tooling utilizing 3D printing for robotic part retrieval. In addition to designs I did manager duties. I am willing to relocate anywhere in Canada that is safe.

Currently in top tier Strategy Consulting firm in London - heavy focus on Industrials/Chemicals M&A with major PE/Corporate clients. Not actively looking, but considering lateral to IB Industrials M&A team - think HL, Evercore, Roths, Jeffries etc. Most current experience is buy-side but interested in both. Have self-taught full modelling/technicals in prep and will continue honing over time. Would be very interested to hear anyone’s views/thoughts/experiences.

Working on a short project designing and developing a CNC Router/Milling Machine to do automotive wheel rims repair. Designed the mechanical hardware using extruded aluminum, worm gears and stepper motors. That was it for the actual machine hard part. Then developed the electronics proof of concept using Arduino and 4 stepper motor drivers for a 3 axis CNC Mill/Router. After wards, I continued to developing the PCB for a final commercial product.

Honestly pretty sad that the company(Mom and pop shop) i work for is slowly falling apart because they believed they could get away of treating employees like crap, pay is decent but not equivalent to what a machinist supposed to make. On top of that they assume we can make anything when in reality we cannot with the limited machines and kinds of machines. Now they scrambling to hire more but no one doesn't want to work for nickles and dimes
