EY - moving in with my girlfriend (Senior Assoc) who works for EY and she wants to submit her independence. I own stock in Apple and Amazon which I know are EY clients. I am looking through the EY independence portal. Is it true that no EY employees can own stock in any of their clients like Apple and Amazon? Are these stocks seriously restricted for all employees? I work at PwC and it is very different for us. I’m allowed to own stock in a PwC client as long as it’s not my client. Please help

Im a person that is on PWD and I was hoping to get advise on how, do or say I have been searching for a job since I graduated out of high school all my life its been tough because when people hear oh this person has disabilities they treat me so poorly that people dont give me a chance to show that I can learn new things and also dont trust me at all. How do I show people im a really good person and willing to work hard if they dont even give me a chance to prove to them that I can do things?

What is the best answer when a recruiter asks ‘Do you have any other interviews/offers/possible other positions you are actively interviewing for’? I want to say ‘No! None but this one we are working on!’ so that the recruiter doesn’t think ‘With other offers possibly on the table, I am not going to push this client too hard, only for the client to say ‘Hey! Thanks, Got another job instead! Bye!’ But on the other hand, does ‘No’ mean ‘I got nothing, so you can offer me less pay’?

I've been at NNSY for over 10 years and it's been a mixed bag. My biggest gripe is a major lack of consistency especially in my trade. You don't have a reliable forecast. You may like the division you're in by excelling and developing proficiency. Quickly you learn you're going elsewhere and you start all over again. You're simply a number to the higher ups and most of the time you're left in the dark. The feeling of homelessness is an understatement.

Just moved to Durham, NC and currently working at Duke on a Cardiology SDU. Duke does not allow any nurse autonomy unless in the ICU setting. Floor RNs can't start IVs, place NGTs, order labs per protocol (i.e. heparin & PTTs), order pt supplies, DC irrelevant orders, etc. I am not wanting to lose skills and I feel like Duke does not allow nurses to critically think unless in the ICU. Does anyone work at UNC? Is it the same there too? Any advice would be amazing.

How can someone like me be given a chance by an employer? Yes, I have a disability, but it only affects one aspect of my job. I am still able to type, read, log, and process information; the only limitations are that I am unable to use a phone, wear a headset, or use earbuds. However, employers reject me as soon as they discover I have a disability. I don't understand why, despite my 70 applications, I'm not even qualified to work as a stocker or bagger.

Would you accept an offer for 125k for 2000 billable hours? MCOL city. For some context, I was at my last firm for 5 years and had a difficult time with billables, left completely burnt out to take some time off and then try and go in house or government. It’s been a difficult job search and now have been unemployed for 8 months. I don’t know if accept to close the growing gap despite the high billable requirement.

I am proud to say, that those that are given the task to manage NFIB are just as committed to the member representative as they are to the member. This culture creates the environment of unity needed to take on big government, and big business. NFIB is made up of members, and staff of many different functions, and through equal respect, and consideration form an organization that practices the same principles internally, that are promoted externally.
