What’s your take on group interviews where you’re interviewed alongside other candidates? I had one last week and it honestly felt like a weird mix of a talent show and a corporate Hunger Games. We were asked to “collaborate” on a scenario, but it turned into everyone subtly trying to outshine each other while staying polite. It was hard to know whether I should focus on my ideas or how I came across compared to everyone else. Is this a new hiring trend I should expect more of, or a giant red flag about company culture?

Need feedback! Been out of work for some time now. Just got an offer to start nxt wk - Company 1. Had an interview yesterday (round 1/3 & not looking to make offer until mid Dec) but interview went well - Company 3. And I have a second round panel interview this wk - Company 2. Thing is, C2&3 are paying the same (100k+), but C1 is temp-to-perm, paying 25k lower than the minimum at C2/3(as temp), and 10k lower when permanent. Would you continue the interviews or take what’s presented?

I am proud to say, that those that are given the task to manage NFIB are just as committed to the member representative as they are to the member. Been told I passed technical interview w accordion partners 1 recruiter 2 case study 3 an MD of group.. So now this is 4 ( these are all zoom and in same day in 10 days or so, meeting with Sr. Director, Director, and VP of group), assuming people i’d be working with. Does this sound like the final round? After these interviews we will be approaching the 2 month mark. Anyways, very excited about potential opportunity but would LOVE some insight.

Thoughts on Debevoise PE group? Clients, folks, culture? Want to work my ass off at a great institution to later make partner (I know it’s almost impossible there, so ideally lateraling as a partner at a v20). They’ve introduced a NEP track so possible, but have no idea what it looks like (first promotion yet to be announced).

How is KPMG FDD team as an associate? Is it a remote job? Tell me everything I should know as to someone who has worked in Top 5 for a few years. I See opportunity that is in a different state than me and the locational information is not available as in the comparison of hybrid or on site or remote.

I’m a second year in a finance group trying to move into M&A or a more gen corp group in either biglaw or a more medium sized firm. I’ve had a a few interviews but no luck yet. Does anyone have any advice? I can’t move groups internally, I’ve already tried.

Has anyone got any experience with group interviews? I'm quite a quiet and withdraw person so I'm concerned that I'm not going to be able to shine as much as in a 1 to 1 interview. Anyone got any advice about how to head into these?

For Sharepoint, is there any solution to partition individual group access to a single ppt deck online? Basically certain teams need to have specific access to specific set of slides based on their role
