Joining NICE Systems has been an incredible experience. Leadership is strong and open to ideas, the culture is supportive, and people genuinely help each other. I feel real accomplishment in my work. The technology is impactful, partners are excited to engage, and the Hoboken office is fantastic. Great benefits, strong compensation, and a CEO who sets a clear, communicative vision. Truly impressed with my time here so far!

I had an interview that seemed to go well until the very end. First, I asked a few questions that the interviewer implied had already been answered earlier in the conversation. When we got off the call, she said, “This was helpful. Thank you.” No excitement, no next steps info, just “Thanks.” Bad sign, correct? Btw also I absolutely hate my job and am desperate for a new one and wonder if that was apparent.

We have a new hire-First day she calls in sick - Service Manager (who will be her direct supervisor) wants to tell her not to bother coming in - EVER. I say "shit happens" and we can't be so quick to assume she is lying. People do get sick. Am i being to nice with this? I have never been accused of being nice lol, but I do believe people cannot control illness. IDK AmI wrong?

Second year male associate who wants to revamp my wardrobe. I’m in need of nice pants, button downs, and dress/casual shoes for work and going out. I did not have money to buy nice clothes before this job so I have no idea where to start with shopping for “nice” clothes. Any recommendation for a place to shop and brands I should check out?

Some days I swear people forget how to use basic manners the second they walk into a place of business. You hold a door, they walk right through. You say hello, nothing. You hand them their order, no thank you. It is wild how little effort it takes to make someone’s day but how rare it has become. Do you ever wonder when being decent turned into a bonus instead of the norm?

Lots of negativity on here. I enjoyed a handful of spots this year. Budweisers American Icons, Rich people live longer, Oakley Meta, Pepsis The Choice, Bet on Kendall, Relax your tight end, Rocket Mortgage neighbor, coinbase moment, can’t live there were all enjoyable, clever, feel good, or can be appreciated in one way or another.

On a scale of 1-5, how “nice” are you at work? I’d like to say I’m a solid 3 at all times. Usually I’m more than willing to cooperate with team members but there are a few who try to bully me and I don’t stand for it. Cooperation is a two way street in my book and I do a good job keeping it open. What about you.

It is so easy to get caught up with frustration about all negativity and bad drama at work. Today I just want to focus on a few positives: ¤ I have many wonderful friends ¤ We have good admin now ¤ We get off on Holidays, have Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Break. What's something you like about your job?

Our manager was nice enough to ask the team to come back on Monday with ideas for small changes that would make our lives at work better. I'm actually blanking and have no idea what I could even ask for. What would you advocate for if you had a manager as nice as ours?
