Today I wanted to showcase some updates I’ve made to a video game I’m creating in JavaScript. I found this really cool—but I’ve finally made some animations in my game and some cool power up effects!—This leads me to the question, anyone willing to hire a developer who’s willing to learn every in and out of JavaScript? So I’m not a gamer, although I’m almost 50 so kind of an old school arcade/SuperNintendo/Xbox kind of guy that hasn’t played anything since Call of Duty probably 20 years ago. However, my kids got Zelda Breath of the Wild so I decided to check it out myself…and now I may have a problem. It’s about the coolest game I’ve ever played and I’m blown away with how much cool stuff is in it! Now I’m logging like 4-5 hours every night and it’s like all I want to do. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Is anyone watching the Ryan trahan 50 states in 50 days video series on YouTube? That's an impressive feat, but what I'm really impressed with is how he's been able to grow the joyride brand into something truly incredible. In the past 2 years he's grown into the one of the top candy brands in the entire country. And is now in stores like Kroger and 7-Eleven on top of Target. Such a good dude too. I wish him all the luck

What's your position on video games? I prefer a pretty screen free life for my kids thus far (no TV during the week, iPad only on planes etc) but considering getting my 7 year old son some kind of video game for Christmas. He's been asking (though what kind is another conversation). Talk me off the ledge.

Our team has a monthly game week tradition and we've been playing sketch.io for the past 6 months now. It was great at first, but everyone's getting pretty bored of it at this point. We've tried looking for alternatives but haven't found anything that really clicks yet. Do you all have any suggestions for fun online games we could try instead?

Are there any video gamers in the bowl who use gaming as a way to relax when you’re not working? If so, what games are you playing and what are you looking forward to playing this year? And you can’t say GTA VI that’s too easy lol. I’m looking forward to Crimson Desert and Planet of Lana II next month among others.
