With all the layed off Feds, etc. Is it basically useless/hopeless to be trying to find a gov consulting/contracting job in the DC/NOVA area as someone not too senior in their career with like 2-3 YOE? The market is definitely rough, but I do see postings still. Am I on an impossible mission here, or is there hope for landing a role either remote or hybrid/in person in NOVA/DC area? Or should I just resign myself to having to move to another city/start looking in other states?
