I am interviewing for a new job and as part of the process I have to submit a PDF deck of 5-7 slides. The focus is on clarity, structure and communication rather than depth of research. The recruiter said if I used AI to support my work, briefly describe how and where it was applied including listing the prompts used in my footnotes. What is best practice here? I feel compelled to understate how much of the content is AI generated. Want to get the opinion of the community of how to handle.

Does anyone at Bloomberg LP have a PDF of the 2025 employee benefits plan? Want to compare against another company I am interviewing with so that I can make a more apples-to-apples comparison between the two roles. Looking for specifics on the 401k plan and matching (does it include Roth 401k), healthcare plan for spouses and dependents, and in general, a clearer picture on comp (is the bonus % negotiable or is it set in stone in the offer, are they open to signing bonuses, etc). Thanks!

I am a recent ops analyst who specialized developing automation solutions.. after being laid off about 2 months ago, I’ve built a web app as a solution to tedious document based workflows that plague back office roles.. Essentially, it is a zero-code environment where users can define specific maps/tokens to extract from a document type that they use (think contracts, trade confirms) This info can then saved down securely and even put onto a new templates document.. Honest feedback - useful?

Best practices for resume file names: Include keywords: Consider adding the job title or keywords (e.g., John_Doe_Software_Engineer_Resume.pdf). Use dashes or underscores (like the example) between words. ATS systems don't process blank spaces. Your resume may be auto-rejected if your file name includes them. Be consistent: If you're submitting a cover letter, use the same format for both documents. Use a common file format: PDF is generally preferred. Does anyone have more tips to add?

Curious if anyone here is looking for opportunities related to document formatting and production support. We need additional help from people who are highly skilled in Microsoft Word and are skilled in setting up styles, applying templates, ensuring compliance with formatting requirements, and supporting proposal or report production. Strong attention to detail. Will consider part time or full time applicants. Fully remote with zero expectations to RTO.

My confession (a tax preparer with 5 years exp, 100k salary) is that when I finish preparing returns, yeah I’ll look over the manual entries within the software and I look at 2 year comp but other than that, I don’t print to PDF to check my work. I honestly just don’t care. I get maybe like 5-6 review notes each return. It’s so much time between preparing and checking yourself and it’s like, eh, I’ll let the reviewer finish off.

I recently left my role as a Project Manager in publishing and am exploring copyediting and freelance work. With experience in magazines and publishers, I’m considering programs that could boost my career options and earning potential. I’m not seeking a corporate path—I love literature but am open to any degree that offers strong pay and good work–life balance. Anyone know what programs could help me pivot and advance?

A few years ago on Fishbowl, I saw a detailed PDF salary guide by title, company size, and company type that covered salary level, bonus, and equity. I could have sworn it was Robert Half but online I can only find their general salary guidance by city and role. Has anyone seen a recent version of this? Preparing for an annual review and would like to ask for a modest salary bump with justification.

When designing instruction manuals or product catalogs, typography hierarchy is everything. A clean, minimal layout with the right grid system doesn't just look good—it saves the client hours of customer support time. As a Print Designer, my favorite part of the process is preparing that flawless CMYK, PDF/X file. Designers here, what’s your favorite tool for layout—InDesign or Illustrator?
