Will you put your photo into resume ? I think it is not a must to include picture on resume, and in fact, it's generally not recommended in many countries. In places like the United States, Canada, and the UK, including a photo on your resume can inadvertently lead to bias, whether conscious or unconscious. It's often best to focus on your skills, experience, and qualifications instead. However, in some countries like parts of Europe or Asia, it's more common to include a photo.

Tell me all your worst camera mishaps. I need people to laugh with while my bruised ego recovers 😅 Took a call for my most important account. I’m usually a stickler for taking calls from my office, but morning sickness is kicking my butt and laying flat is the only option. my internet dropped and when I rejoined my camera defaulted to on for a few seconds. So of course the customer VP and a few partners got a great view of me laid up in bed, looking like death, double chin angle and all. 🙈

There was an event with photographers last week. I suffer from poor self image and have dealt with ED and body dysmorphia in my teens & 20s. Despite knowing it would be hard, I attended the event. Now the pics have been published and damn, it was hard to see me in those pics! I have to remind myself that despite my appearance I have lived a normal life till now (in my 30s) with a career, people who liked me as a friend, and some serious & casual partners.

I spoke with a recruiter the other day that said the presence of a linkedin head shot makes you seem more legit. Really? Weird ...I'd never considered this. What do most people think? Is this just a "we want to see your pic in case you're old" thing or do you need to be technically sharp and beauty queen attractive? I joined LI back in the days when this wasn't a thing. I mean the standard advice is to not put pics on resume s.

When I travel and take photos, sometimes the scenery just doesn’t fit in the frame — especially wide landscapes or group shots. I found a handy online tool that can expand image width or background seamlessly, which helps make travel photos look more complete: https://www.beautyplus.com/image-extender It’s been great for enhancing scenic shots in my travel albums. Thought this might be useful for fellow travelers too!

I looked at my LinkedIn profile picture today and realized it is from five years ago and looks like a completely different person than who walks into the office now. It feels like false advertising at this point but I dread the awkwardness of posing for new corporate headshots. How often do you update your professional photo? do you keep it current or do you hold onto a younger version of yourself as long as possible?

Suggestions on photo storage and organization options? I’ve got digital pictures from pre-kid days (think 00’s), early kid days (2010s), and a ton now … spread across my computer, maxed out Google Photos and iCloud, and phones. Having a hard time even finding something consistently. And windows Photos app has …. become less useful and unwieldy lately. What do folks use?
