Hi all! Looking to pivot but unsure where to start. Currently I am in pest control as the only routing professional at my branch, I am in charge of the entire calendar, loading routes, etc. It is a fast paced industry and I have learned a lot in my time here. I have about 10 years experience. I am looking to pivot into a data analytics role or a management role - I think my experience would lend well to both of those. But I am unsure how to market myself. Where would you begin?

I need help with career pivot options. I have been with a large commercial GC in the Atlanta area for almost 10 years. I have worked on multiple large scale transportation projects at the airport and other transportation hubs. I have experience in scheduling, accounting work (internal financial projections), excel, day to day operations of projects, management of a team, and other construction related software/tasks. I am over the chaos of day to day construction and need help with a change.

Omg trying to pivot is brutal, I just gotta vent a sec, TIA. Seems if you don't want to be in sales, even a lot of engineering salaries are trash or you must work on site 100% no relo. Jobs posted as remote but they're really just high travel req'd. Anything in my desired pivot is either hourly, super shit salary or requires 15 yrs exp in very specific internal company platform. And anything that looks slightly decent has 1k+ applicants on day one. 😭 Solidarity w y'all out here. ✊

I've been working as a procurement team lead in the electronics industry based in san jose California specialised in pcb assembly and box build from past 7 years. I want to pivot my career in a management role as I have serious expertise in internal production operations, customer operations, Global supply chain of electronics components, pcb and mechanical parts. And the second thought is to pivot in the I industry from scratch as I am listening to much noise for AI as industry of future.

Any advice for young creative looking for pivot? I’m a generalist marketing designer in a small tech company. Mostly doing social media asset production. I don’t see this lasting. I did not get on the UX UI hype train during covid and I’ve seen many on bowls and reddit say bootcamp formula is dead. Tech and ux in general are not looking good in general and entry level is non existent it seems. Im also not quite sure what to pivot to. Open to ideas on whats out there

For some background, I'm a biomedical engineer graduate two years out with only one year of professional experience in medical device sales. I want a job with a more 9-5 structure that would allow for a healthier work-life balance that what I currently have so that I can work and get my Master's. Any job search advice?

Hi, I have 15+ years experience in banks mainly in credit, audit and financial instruments advisory. I am passionate about equity research and corporate finance after taking up these certifications from NYU with Prof Damodaran. I want to pivot into this area however given the strange job market or AI based filtering my resume only gets matched to typical bank roles. LinkedIn is not as useful as it used to be 15 years ago. Any suggestions in job search will be helpful.

Any advice on how to pivot? 8 years total experience. First 5 years of practice, I worked at a firm doing civil defense work (consumer warranty/product liability) and then moved in-house where I’ve been supporting sales teams as commercial counsel for the last 3 years (tech spaces: hardware/software/privacy). I know the opportunity for arts jobs is so incredibly small, especially as a beginner in what could be described as a niche field, but I'm stubborn and what to make this pivot work out. I've been in industrial maintenance for 10+ years(injection molding, PLCs, calibrations, R&D w/ Engineering, etc.). Currently 33 and feeling rather unfulfilled in my current line of work. I'm considering a career pivot. My issue is, I don't know what to pivot towards. Are there any others out there like me that made a drastic (or not so drastic) change from this type of work? Where did you end up? I'm just exploring right now so any feedback is helpful.
