accepted a position at pools company as “leak detection specialist”, for awhile it was pretty good not the best but decent, they seemed to treat their employees Well at first and then the two people that hired me from HR ended up parting ways with the company like overnight and something just didn’t seem right at all , on top of that I didn’t have proper EQ for the job , I improvised and suddenly today I was told my position was dissolved , and I was to report to the route dept tomorrow huh

I was promised a market-leading bonus in my offer letter, but my first year-end review just resulted in a literal slap in the face. After grinding 80-hour weeks to fix their messy reporting, my director told me the pool was shallow this year and handed me a 2% kicker. It’s insulting because I know for a fact the MDs just took a celebratory trip to Aspen on the department's dime. Is it a bad move to just quit without something lined up?
