I’ve been working on a tech-native team post McK exit as a non-PM. I may have the chance to either move internally (limited pay bump in the form of RSUs), go to another tech company (nothing solid came my way yet), expand my current team (zero pay increase, more work is my reward here) or work at CPG with ex consultants (big pay bump). Anyone here who moved to CPG post exiting the firm? Are you happy with that transition? What do you think about innovation lifecycle there. I’m just curious.

A postion has come open in my company for the Accounting Dept, which I do have experience in. It pays $2 less an hour and is a 15 minute further drive than what I do right now but it is way closer to where my husband and I hope to buy a home. Obviously a no brainer to try and get the postion, so why am I so scared to try? I hate the position I'm currently in and I think Back Office would be great. I think it's the $2 cut that worries me. And the experience could help for a future job

I’ve mostly been that person who scrolls, saves posts for “later,” and vanishes like a ninja in business casual. But I’m stepping into the light—open to work and ready to find the right fit. With 3+ years in property management, ops, and sales, I’ve juggled leasing, vendors, and daily chaos. PMP in progress. Open to project management, operations, property, or sales roles. Bay Area or remote.

Male Desi looking to navigate a Desi manager on a engagement for the first time. I was warned and still a bit new/shocked at the random calls while I am in a meeting, late evening calls, and the occasional Sunday calls. Any suggestions on how to push through? Tried to connect at a personal level and seems like the M has no life outside of work and they are ex-WITCH if that helps!

Working at Manheim as a temporary admin assistant has been a great opportunity to gain hands-on office experience in a fast-paced environment. The team has been welcoming and supportive, making it easy to settle in quickly. I’ve developed my administrative and organisational skills, and learned more about how auction and automotive operations function behind the scenes.

Any idea if Jenner’s begun or finished reviewing post-clerk applications? I’m especially interested in the Chicago office. I know they’ve had the portal available since the fall, and the text on the Experienced Lawyers and Clerks page has changed every now and then, but…This is prompted by Winston just opening post-clerk applications yesterday.

As much as I want to support the Covington guy, he would’ve kept his credibility if he had just stopped at the first post. But the follow-ups read like a full-blown mental health episode playing out in real time. It’s honestly hard to watch. If anyone close to him cares, they need to take his phone.

I followed up today on a role I applied for December 11 and the recruiter replied that the hiring manager is “back from PTO this week.” The posting is still live and has over 300 applicants. I do not know if that is good news or a bad sign. How are you reading situations like this.
