Hi I am 24, I have a degree in pre health bio and chemistry minor. I have about two years of experience working in a lab and as of about 5 months ago I started a job as a microbiologist. I would like to go get my masters in microbiology but I also have an interest in epidemiology. I have a lot of different interest in the science field, I just don’t know what all is out there. I need a reality check from folks with job change experience. I currently work in retail and data annotation, I am applying for school to get a certification to become a sterile processor in the medical field. I have a bachelors in Animation. Long story short, I graduated college just before the pandemic hit and I did not manage to get a job in the field because they all went poof. I am terrified that I won’t get a job once certified in sterile processes. Money is an OBJECT! Help :(

I’ve just recently grad ultrasound school, however I’m already feeling so discouraged just trying to find a job…it’s only been about 2 wks so not long, but our area is also over saturated and we have like 4 programs in town. Most of the positions are wanting vascular certified or ardms, I’m currently ARRT and I already passed my spi so I’m eventually going to take my rvt. Is it just a me thing?? or is the economy?? I just didn’t expect to have a hard time finding a job…

I don’t have a giant investment account and still have about 25% in cash, buying when it makes sense. Today bought Puma USA on OTC symbol PMMAF but only a few thousand dollars. Their stock took a hit since January by about 50% but have a good new CEO and I like their products. This is not a recommendation - just sharing. Still low single digits of the total so not worried.
