Hi everyone, is anyone working for quest diagnostics, I just got hired about 2 months ago. Im having trouble with keeping up with my pts and constantly being told to speed up because we're getting ready behind on appointments, when I do go faster I tend to make mistakes, and get overwhelmed when I get large orders with multiple test. I'm constantly asking questions but feel like a bother to my coworkers. And with all the other things we have to do, I feel like I made a bad decision on here hired

How many of us have joined NALA or some other Paralegal group? Is that where you get all your training or do you seek others sources? I have found that if I piggy back off my attorneys CLE course I get credit for that which it doesn’t cost me a a penny just my time. However, when needing something in particular for my CLE I go to Perfectly Paralegal IF she is offering it. Where else are we able to go to for CLE’s and it doesn’t cost a fortune? Or do some just NOT do CLE?

I would consider carefully before joining Quest Software. They have eliminated redundancy packages completely, only offering the statutory. The company might be having severe financial struggles, or have chosen to treat employees this way. Other companies who are financially successful in Cork and Ireland offer an ex-gratia redundancy package, over and above the statutory. Only struggling companies do not offer them.

What do folks know about the Latham partnership? Real path to equity, collaborative partnership and good work? Currently considering a lateral move there as I have been tired of the poor caliber of work at my current firm and lack of associate support (simply because there aren’t any associates in my group other than very junior associates). I’m a currently a NEP at another big law firm.

Anyone know Wise Wolves Group? They seem like obscure crypto bros and one of their recruiters just reached out to me because they're opening a US office. No clue what that brings but apparently they're looking for an accountant who's fluent in russian and english (hence that linkedin DM). But simultaneously, Cyprus and crypto bros means I'd like to make sure I don't end up on Laci Mosley's podcast.

Looking for some input. I am supposed to join a project in January with horrible work life balance (was pulled in, did not seek it out). Think 70 hour work weeks and guaranteed weekend work. I have an opportunity to join a different project at my firm that has a more reasonable expectation around working hours. How do you go about telling Project A you won't be able to join?

hi all, i've an experience of around 14yrs, received offer from CISCO of 38L+ joining bonus, for grade 8 (current grade is 9). project is related to QA for mpls solutions and python automation, which i've not worked on, considering the learning curve i'll have, i thought it is a good deal. pls share any comments how do you see the career graph etc.
