On my movie watch list - The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist is a deeply personal documentary that explores the existential crossroads of artificial intelligence. The film is framed through Roher’s own journey into fatherhood; as he prepares to welcome his first child, he is gripped by "AI insanity" and the dire warnings that the technology could either save or end humanity. I have gone from being a creative director for a midsize agency to essentially being an agency replacement as a single person who has a lot of different skills. And my clients are starting to ask me about artificial intelligence. I use it to some extent, but I am certainly not an expert in it and I recognize that if I’m going to continue to serve clients, I’m going to need to become technically proficient in AI. So my question is where can I get smart on AI very quickly? Any good courses out the

AI has me so burned out. Just heard about someone framing an AI photo of their pet and I'm so over all of this. I went into software because I liked it. I love the art and the puzzles. I did not go into software because I'm trying to rise and grind or have any delusions about my ability to retire or own a home. If AI outcompetes me, I'll just wait tables or something, I'm not trying to die like John Henry did, nor am I sticking around if all that remain of my job is meetings and prompting.

I helped a friend review a job application recently, and their cover letter was so polished I thought they’d suddenly become a writing genius… then they admitted it was 80% AI. It made me wonder how much of what recruiters read now is written by humans vs. AI and if everything sounds perfect, does anything actually stand out anymore. For people who handle resume reviews, can you tell when candidates use AI? Does it help or hurt their chances?

How are you addressing AI in your classroom? I don't want to discourage it completely, because it's a tool these kids will be dealing with in their professional lives and I think it's safe to say that it's not going anywhere. But I want them to be able to think and understand when it is and when it isn't ok to rely on it.

I've asked chatgpt to rework my cv, while the revised version does read impreaaive but it also reads like words strung together that don't mean anything.. anyone else find this? Anyways I'm curious if recruiters can tell if it's AI, will it be flagged through screening? Anyone have positive experiences using AI for CV updates?

I have been with CORA about a year. We have a great team in our area and the use of AI to help create notes quicker and easier is life changing. I set it to listen to the conversation with the patient. I proofread, add anything I want and the note is done in a few minutes for evaluations and less then a minute for daily notes.

As with any new technology, there are so many instructional videos and suggestions on how to learn about AI. I do use AI, but I still feel like a total novice. Could anyone direct me to the most valuable videos and some AI-certified programs that are not outrageously priced or overly complex? Many thanks.

As AI tools become part of every STEM career, the line between “AI expert” and “AI user” is fading. Soon, every engineer, scientist, and analyst may need to understand AI fundamentals. Do you think AI literacy should be mandatory in all STEM fields? How is your organization preparing for that transition?
