While I have an IRA I can access if needed, I don't have rental properties or equity. I currently make ends meet through freelance work, surveys, and testing. Do you have any passive income streams or other ways to earn while you're job searching? I'd also love to hear any real estate income tips, as I'm curious to learn more about that.

I've been working in software engineering for around 10 years. I live in Spain, and here most salaries are around 30k, even for offerings that require a whole IT department worth of experience. I finally found this platform instead of using local ones, and first thing I see is job offers close to 6 figures for stuff I've been doing for ~3 years now. I’ve started lying on salary surveys and forms because I’m tired of the reactions. I make $145k, and anytime I say that out loud to someone outside finance, they either act weird or treat me like I’m bragging.
