What’s something that screams “red flag” to you in a job interview? For me a big one is when they say you’ll wear many hats in the role.

I have a friend who works for a super corrupt company. They changed their WFH policy & someone sent an anonymous email back to HR complaining about it. HR then sent an email to the whole company telling people to come forward if they knew who sent it, in a very threatening way. They had marketers who hired prostitutes & bought drugs on work trips, got fired, & then rehired. When people quit, they make them sign NDAs. Does this seem super crazy or is it just me? Anyone else have similar stories?

In a meeting last week with senior members of the organization my manager shared the following when discussing the upcoming skills shortage "Look around the room " there were 6 white males and me, a brown-presenting woman - " there won' be many more white males in our industry in the near future. White Replacement is real and it's coming." I was still in shock when someone else asked a question about a work issue and the conversation was redirected. No one found it odd or inappropriate.

Creepy recruiter from big US tech comp: sent me the same questions twice, appearing as different chats on LinkedIn but linking to the same profile. Since then, we spoke on the phone multitude times, and exchange mails and WA chats. Got 3 very intense tech rounds & rejected, saying they decided to move ahead with another candidate. Continued my job search & saw they repost same JD. A few weeks after my rejection (sent by her), I receive the same questions from same recruiter, on a fresh new chat!

So I woke up this morning to an email from a "recruiter" that thought I would be good for a job which had SEVERAL red flags: the email came from a Gmail account, the job description was sent as an attachment when most recruiters will put it in the body of the email, there was no company signature line, and the email was received at 1:06 CST.

Just finished my second interview and it all seemed to go really well I am wondering if this comment is a red flag. When we were wrapping up I asked what the next steps would be and the response was that they were going to wrap up their notes and if I move forward it would be a series of 3 more interviews. Should I be worried

Wife applied to a job on LinkedIn. Immediately text messages by recruiter (green bubbles), rapid firing trying to set things up and asked for a photo of her to be sent over before the interview. I told her this seems like a total scam, but she said the post was on LinkedIn. Any thoughts?

All these wfh jobs I’ve come across seem so scammish. I joined this Facebook group and it’s all the same stuff. Then when someone finally replies to me it’s so red flag, especially the download the What’s App to communicate, like why?

For me, the biggest red flag in a job posting is definitely "No Salary Range" you mean the recruiter wants me to apply for a job I do not know how much I will be earning, that's quite funny though. What’s the biggest red flag in a job posting for you? and Why is it?

What's a major red flag that you have seen in a job offer package? I saw a line that said all PTO was at the manager's discretion and must be submitted 4 weeks in advance. That immediately turned me away from the job.
