I interviewed at Global Relay for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner role. The process starts with a 45-minute recruiter screen, followed by a 48-hour assignment (took ~8 hours). Next is a 45-minute HR Manager interview, then cognitive and behavioral tests. After that, a 45–60 minute HR Director interview, followed by an in-person with an HR Director and two senior leaders. Final step is an interview with the VP of HR and two additional HR Directors before a decision.

Does anyone actually want to connect on Linkedin? The whole purpose of that platform is to network right? I'm in the process of applying for jobs, and to better help my chances, I've been trying to network with people within similar roles or the hiring team within the company, hoping to gain an edge but not a single person has been interested in replying. I'm wondering if I'm overstepping a boundary, or am I 1 of 100 with the same strategy?

Hi I’m an experienced claims handler from the UK currently living in the US (property, pet, travel claims but open to other types). I prefer to work in a busy, fast-paced, target driven environment. Can anyone advise whether larger companies such as Liberty Mutual tend to recruit for claims handlers individually or in multiples so they can train in groups? Also, if a role is advertised as remote, is this non-negotiable or does it mean that remote working is an option? Thank you 🙏

“At our organization, internal transfers are guided by merit, transparency, and alignment with business goals — not office politics.” This is what is being told to me by HR when I joined this company and which proved totally wrong. I don't think there is any transparency in this. Inspite of me they give the best transfer position to my junior. I don't know what's the basis but I deserved that better in every aspect they talked about above. I m very pissed off now. Should I talk to hr ?

So I work overnight and there has been another place close by where I live, I’ve asked my managers boss for a transfer within the first week of my work, nothing, then in a few weeks I’ve asked the manager for the transfer, but unfortunately the place close by already hired someone, then the next few months. Again, I’ve asked three more times, by the third time my manager ducked my questions and ignored it. Now I want to speak to HR but am afraid I’ll be fired for it.

Assume you are pregnant and will be having a kid soon. You are debating asking your employer to go full-time remote because it’s an optimal time to ask. You would frame the request as it would allow you to be more focused, more efficient and more available, especially before and after pregnancy. But you are concerned that asking and receiving a ‘no’ may cause your mgr to become hostile towards you. What would you do in this situation?

So today my line manager presented to 2 directors a project idea that I initiated, and researched. She used my slide deck (some builds of her own added) and ran the whole meeting without referencing my contribution at any point. After the meeting she shared the slide deck stating "forwarding the slides from today, I pulled together". Do you think I should say something to my manager? If so, how do I word this?

***Is it worth it to go to HR** Im new and not fully out of training but have >10 yrs exp in my field. Already fear retaliation, What is the process for discussing direct manager issues, where having a safe and productive discussion one on one is futile? When I started I absolutely loved their "culture"-idea. But I get physically ill now, daily. I understand "quit" will be the consensus but im looking for other options.

      Surviving A Toxic Workplace

Running into a situation where a direct manager does not share information needed for me to do my job and undermines my credibility as a project manager. I’ve elevated it to senior leadership (who I have a good relationship with) and they’re aware of the situation. It continues to happen and I don’t want to continue to “cry wolf” to senior leadership. Any tips on how to get this person to share information better?
