      The Worklife Bowl

This is a song which is tuned to the fibonacci sequence and 432 hz energy vibration. The fibonacci sequence is present at all levels in the universe. It is part of something called Sacred Geometry. It is in galaxies, weather systems, fossils, human DNA, snails shells, and much more. If you meditate to this enough times, then you can actually feel evolutionary/electromagnetic energy moving up the spinal column. This activates the chakras/human energcy centers/ human endocrine glands. Song Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Llbewm4_JA&list=RD9Llbewm4_JA&start_radio=1

Is it a thing for recruiters to “rebate” a portion of their commission they make to you in exchange for us retaining them? Asking because I know this exists in real estate and I just used a rebate realtor to buy my home where I got a percentage of my agents commission for retaining them. This sounds like could be a great way for recruiters to actually gain our attention and business instead of the annoying cold calls and other bs. If it’s not common, sounds like a great business opportunity

Working with a resi agent right now on a transaction and want to share some things for resi agents who try to do CRE deals. 1. CRE brokers don’t usually work on the weekends. Most things can wait till Mon. 2. Our offers are LOIs. There is not a set template. 3. Lenders cannot preapprove commercial loans. 4. Ask the CRE broker if you’re unsure. I’d rather have a newer agent than someone who blows up a deal guessing. 5. Sellers do not care about the buyer’s passion. They care about money.

Client has been asking for a call re: case status. I emailed the partner last week, providing him info on the latest and asking to go over some strategic points, as there are complex matters I need to check in with him on. He didn’t respond. I emailed him two more times to check in so we can speak to the client. He still didn’t respond. Client just emailed again for the call. I don’t feel like I can speak to the client myself, but I’m worried the client will get pissed?? What to do??

This Jardiance commercial trying to replicate some kind of shoot is so bad and embarrassing as to what actually happens on a shoot. A VO announcer in the makeup chair? Why is he there? His voice is horrible. Sounds like he's holding his nose when he speaks. Then later, he's in some BS sound booth doing a recording on set? Here come's Craft Service with a fresh batch of frothy Green Puke. Our main hero - Boom Guy - walks around like he's at a freaking museum. The Director is shooting FILM?

I applied for a trades job on Indeed that’s been listed for about a year. After no response, I followed up with a voicemail. Still nothing. Then it was reposted as “urgently hiring,” so I reapplied. I’m very qualified and want to stay persistent without being pushy. If I don’t hear back after this second application, I’m considering another follow-up or possibly visiting in person to show serious interest. Suggestions, tips, anything? i have a degree in the field i applied to!!

After submitting an application and my resume to a company I got a call (voicemail) a week later saying they were “really interested “ in speaking to me and it sounded genuine. I called back the next day, went straight to voicemail, and left a voicemail. If I don’t get a call back should I just call again? Maybe email them to see if it’s easier to schedule something? I have an infant at home so it makes it difficult to stay connected to my phone most days.

Had a client meeting where I laid out a full solution. Crickets. Five minutes later, a male client repeats the exact same thing, and suddenly everyone’s nodding like he just cured cancer. I’m tired of swallowing it to “keep things smooth,” but I also don’t want to be seen as combative. How do you call this out without making it awkward or being labeled difficult? Because honestly, I’m one more “great idea, Steve” away from flipping the damn table.

I had a LONG period of time when I would hear nothing from nobody, but it truly does pour when it rains. I got a job offer today from one company and just got done with what I think is the final round with another company. I'm much more interested in the second one, and I am truly hopeful to hear from them. How long do you think I can push off responding to the offer letter? I don't want to be in a situation where I have neither option!

If I have 1.5 years of securities litigation and 8 months at a RE firm (doing some litigation and tax abatement work), would I still be able to pivot to doing corporate or capital markets transactional work? I’m getting worried that my current role is going to derail my chances of getting to that point. I went to the RE firm hoping I’d be able to get /some/ transactional experience to put on a resume.
