This industry is a scam. I don't know why anyone would work here instead of tech. McKinsey reported 2% growth rate in 2024, literally lost to inflation (3-4%). This is a fatal structural blow to the business model + total failure to capitalize on AI growth. BCG/Bain not even in the picture. In the onboarding class of my MBB earlier this year, not ONE had a background or education in tech. Garbage in, garbage out.
