Am I going to be worked to the bone if I join a group where I’d be the only associate supporting partners and counsels? It’s a subgroup of a corporate practice that focuses on a specialized area with great exit options and operates as a support group for other transactional and/or lit groups (like tax or IP). It’s a newly created position meaning there aren’t any previous associates that I can ask about their experience. I really like type of work the team does but worried about being miserable.

Has anyone out there worked for Cologix, Inc? I applied for a remote IT Support Specialist position a while back (Can't exactally remember when though). I got a response the other day asking if I was still interested. No request for information or anything phishy. I said yes & got a response about a day later asking me to answer some job related questions. No urgency, no personal information & everything looked legit. Fast forward to today & I get a job offer. I’ve been at a firm for 6 months. The group I work w/ is huge. I report directly to a Sr FA. I’m very good at strategy - I have Asperger’s . I see patterns, #’s etc. What I struggle w/ is emotional intelligence, I don’t understand sarcasm, etc. I notice that the FA, takes all the credit for my work. I come up w/ ideas but don’t know how to articulate that to the group so this jerk runs w/ it. He presents it like, I had Mark do this, etc. How do I approach this?

Anyone know Wise Wolves Group? They seem like obscure crypto bros and one of their recruiters just reached out to me because they're opening a US office. No clue what that brings but apparently they're looking for an accountant who's fluent in russian and english (hence that linkedin DM). But simultaneously, Cyprus and crypto bros means I'd like to make sure I don't end up on Laci Mosley's podcast.

I attempt chat-based interview of woolworths and after that I was given 48 hours to complete the saphia.ai video based interview. After completing both of them, I received the call for group interview. Can someone please share their experience when it comes to group interview? What do they ask or what do they want to see in us?

Has anyone switched practice groups later in your career (as a mid/senior associate)? Or know people who did? What has your/their experience been like? I’m currently a 5th year restructuring associate feeling a bit pigeonholed but also worried that I’m too expensive to train.

Why would someone be listed on the firm’s website but not part of the group? Is layoff the only option? Interviewing somewhere that insists they only have 2 associates but there’s a 3rd on their website that they keep not mentioning….
